But I do know this, alot of times...systems make players. And if history is any clue, we can atleast all agree that Flynn really, really excelled in that offense.
First of all, I didn't know what WAS your position, A & O. I have heard a lot of people on this board advocating bring in the coach and he'll bring Matt Flynn with him.
I looked over his stats and here they are. Pay particular attention to the number of opportunities he had to play..............................

Chyrene you gotta excuse A&O apparently he knows everything and we don't. Aqua maybe you should be the next coach? you seem to have all the answers. you da man bro..........
The bullets were live and it was a real game. And if you remember, Flynn was nothing but a winner in college as well.
He has to be as good of a "prospect" as Luck, who hasn't thrown a pass in the league, and has significant questions regarding his arm. My opinion of course. But the kid shows game every chance he gets, what else can he do?
The answer is - he needs his own gig at this point, and I for one would welcome him to my yammie with open arms...
I would only be interested in Flynn if Philbin is hired as HC. It would be much easier to keep him in the same system, even if it means getting rid of Daboll, who did a great job this year.
Not sue why people are going crazy over a guy who has not throw 150 passes in the NFL. He had one good game against a weak Detroit secondary and folks are screaming for him. He was not special at LSU. I would rather have a guy who has started in the NFL backing or pushing Moore. Rex Grossman or Jason Campbell.
Mizzou, I was going to respond to BNF but he actually is implying that if we could a) draft Andrew Luck or b) get Matt Flynn in a trade, he would take option b).
That is fantastic. Sure Peyton Manning had never played a down of pro football out of college. Sure John Elway had never played a down of pro football out of college. But to choose a second stringer over the top prospect out of the draft is well.......but half the time BNF is really putting people on and sh_tting on their cornflakes.
I think too many around here are in love with the unknown, thus the allure of strange...
Beyond that, a lot of you mavens will have some serious backpedaling to do if RGIII can't walk on water...
I think Kiper makes my case rather well BTW. It's the more responsible path, and leads to certain improvement as opposed to a rather reckless handling of our draft potentials.
