wow......I am happy, but it is embarrassing we went after this guy and he took the rams over us.... I dont care, about Bradford, he has proven nothing in the NFL yet...

Its not just Bradford...its the second pick.
In St Louis he gets Bradford or RG III or even Andrew Luck.
In Miami he gets Matt Moore.
Its really a no brainer to take the St Louis job.
The fact that our franchise is such an attractive option overall (history, location, money, etc) is why this was such a "tough" decision for him.
I'm glad he went there.
Now lets go get someone with a bright future who is actually EXCITED about being here.

Wow that kinda is a low blow by Fisher, but no worries guys Fisher is a perrenial 8-9 win kind of coach anyway. Not good enough to get the fins to the promised land, and not good enough to rid yourself of this awful owner. Mangini time is getting closer, and he will bring you one step closer to the end to Ross.
I’m not really disappointed in this, but Ross should have red the tea leaves better and not subjected this franchise to yet another drawn-out episode of embarrassment.
Whatever, I can’t blame him for interviewing Fisher, but the drama of it all smacked way too much like the Hairbrush sushi extravaganza last year. Flop.
At this point I’m not excited about ANY of the candidates we’ve looked at, and now we’re only in a weaker position than before IMO. It could get really sad from here…

Have you read a word? He wanted to come here, he held out for a week hoping that ross would sway. But in the end he didn't. I'm glad its over. Can't have inhouse fighting. Go hard at Gruden. Offer him a cheerleader or two..........
Personally, I wouldn't want anyone who wants full control. That type of arrangement gave us Culpepper over Brees, and saddled us with Pat White. Personnel moves need to be by committee in Miami.
Fisher is really a bland option as a head coach. Time to move on.
The thing that gets me, is If Ross really thought Fisher was the Guy, you know before you even interview him he is going to want some control, so why would you even Interview him? You automatically make your Coaching hire your 2nd choice. Another blunder by Ross....

IMO, you interview him to try to negotiate that out of his hands, plus to show the other candidates that there is demand for the job.
exactly what has Jeff Ireland done to be so entrenched that he is deemed more important than any coach we can hire? this to me is the bigger issue, more than just not getting fisher. NO big name coach will come into this situtuation, and yet Ross, who wants a big name coach, set up the structure that precludes that from ever happening. Everyone could see this coming and yet the owner is clueless.

I hear ya PF2, the second pick is a huge plus... I think they trade it, most likely to us.... Fisher liked the idea of having all of that pick to buid his team with, trading the 2nd pick will give him alot.....
I disagree with is chice, I think the Rams, are still way behind us in rebuilding... And I dont believe Fisher will be more successful then Miami will over the next 3 years...
I think Miami will trade something like Solia and Wake, and our first pick, to secure the second pick in the draft....
Fishers son being the Vp of the rams was also a tough work around... But as I said earlier, I didnt really want him as our coach....

OK so if you interview a person that you then wait 10 days for an answer when you know he wants control then turns you down, that gives your team a positive spin? That Shows there is a demand for the job? NO that makes you a joke once again. Two years in a row Ross goes all out trying to get HIS Guy and only to be rejected, in my eyes at this point in time you only Interview guys you know want the Job with the structure you demand to keep. I do not think Fisher was the next Don Shula but he would have brought us some stability in these times. I as a season Ticket holder, now see it is time for me to be a non season Ticket holder, it is now The Dolphins Job to win me back, be that a big time QB or something, no way I shell out my cash for the same team with some unproven as the head coach. Ross wants to win but he has no clue how to do that...

The original question didn't have the 10-day-without-an-answer aspect in it. That significantly changes what my reply would have been.
