Personally i would take philbin and lay out the bank for flynn, then get blackmon with first pick, trade a couple players for more pics, get the safety from oklahoma st with the broken hand. pick up some ol via free agency and call it a damn day. do it do it do it. It is time to shit or get off the toilet. no more freaking looking for diamonds out of crap get the players and restore some honor and dignity and for gods sake get zach thomas back in the loop and let him coach how to have heart!!

I gotta admit, Fisher is pissing me off too. I'd ask him , you want the Job? If Not have fun in St louis.

Ah I just saw the report he will choose either the Rams or Phins next week, so actually I'm fine with that.

I wonder if he's already decided where to go and just waiting for wild card weekend to end or if he really is mulling over where to go.

Exactly. It’s not like we’re in a position to pick and choose whoever we want. To the contrary, the Miami Dolphins HC job is loaded with reasons NOT to take it, starting with an unresolved QB situation (tho I am personally not as down on Moore as some are), highly questionable FO, serious concerns regarding ownership competency, a jaded fan base, and a roster that still needs a number of fixes including finding dominant playmakers on both sides of the ball, completing the core roster, and adding sustainable depth.

All in all, outside of the basic “Miami marquee,” a lot of baggage to deal with.

cmon guys really? we all need to cut the crap. 40 years of this team i have learned alot. they have no damn desire for marquee people. stop listening to this bullshit. there is zero zero zero chance of getting luck or rg3 same for manning. the best you will get is flynn which is fine, i also think moore is fine as well. get blackmon and some players. fisher can suck off. are you seriously thinking the guy hasnt decided yet?? the playoffs mean crap, why would you not accept a job during the playoffs? that is just dumb as excuses people. he is simply trying to drive up the offer. i would not even hire him now. jerk off quit playing games. hire philbin get flynn and call this cake done.

I would be fine with Philbin, Flynn, and Blackmon. I don't really blame Fisher for taking his time or trying to drive up the offer. It's just good business and we can't really know that he isn't seriously considering the Fins. If we get Flynn, I wouldn't mind trading down and trying to grab additional picks though. Blackmon will likely cost us our 3rd or 4th to move up.

Why take Blackmon in the first round and not Luck or Griffin?

Obviously because you may not be ABLE (for the hard-to-understand this is defined as either opportunity or physical power, not inclination or desire) to.
