Using Cassel or Kolb as example for compensation, it could take two 2nd rd picks and $60M to get Flynn. He has started 2 games in his career. That salary cap hit could ruin the team for years if wrong in the evaluation of Flynn.

Still...its 32 games in 3 years.

Seems to me that the "tenable" position would be wins over losses, points on the board, yardage, and red zone performance.

You think Mallett is a franchise QB then maybe hell will freeze over because I don't see it, and neither did all of the teams that were drafting in the 1st and 2nd rounds. Just Because Jack Ass takes a QB does not make him a franchise player. Remember Belecheat also took Kevin O'Connell, and where is he now? Oh yes 3rd string on the stinking planes or Jets or whatever the hell you want to call them. We even signed him, and he didn't even last a month with our QB rich tradition after Marino.

Well if thats true, Treasure, then it wont be for another 5-6 years, because thats how much longer Brady will play.

(Although I believe he will only play at a high level for the next 3-4 years)

I agree with Ken. With Brees we still would have run the ball and first and second down.

Not much any QB can do with that.
