Here's the draft order as of now (pending coin toss we're 8 or 9).

Question to all: Was it worth possible 3 spots to knock the Jets out of the playoffs? Truth is they wouldn't have made it anyway, but my vote is yes it was worth it.

I do lament however that this is a deep QB draft, and hope we can land a decent QB some how.

I know you say it was worth it.

But I can't answer anything because I find it impossible to root NOT to win.

I just can't do that.

For clarity, a loss would of had us at 5-11, and possibly up to 6th depending on tie breakers.

I've been disgusted since 0-7, and as much for wanting a high draft pick as anyone, once we were set for a losing season.

I however have to love bringing the Jets down, and putting a sock in Ryan's mouth.

I say yes, bc we'd be picking about the same place anyway. And the 1 spot we may have improved really wouldn't make a difference, since it's still to far to trade up for RG3 without giving up essentially the same package we gotta give up now. Now were the games against WAS and teams like that worth it? probably not

BTW,, I noticed in the draft order that Buffalo was not even mentioned. Does anybody know what position they will draft considering they finished behind us in the division?

buffalo picks #10, behind us and CAR (all 3 of us finished with the same record)

I could not care less about the New York Jets. I care about the Miami Dolphins.

We lost overall value in this "win".

Kind of a silly poll. Of course it was worth it. If the dolphins lost, it wouldn't have made a damn bit of difference in the draft. Indy, Cleveland, Jax and Washington ALL need QBs.

Google. HAH...I used my mac translation widget. Which means it could be either more, or less, believable than google.

I take no risks when it involves the jets. Take them out.....Make sure they do not make the playoffs.


I do not want them having any chances...

Now if they were out of the playoffs before the game started then i wouldnt care if we win or not. In fact i would had been cool with a loss so we can pick ahead in round 1.

Even if it did mean something in terms of draft position, there is *no way* I could root for the Jets over the Dolphins under any circumstances. It would go against every fiber in my being.

However, if the outcome was a Jets win, getting a higher pick would have been a consolation prize I suppose.

Jets suck. I predicted Ryan's implosion 2 years ago - and it only gets worse from here.
