Chris Mortenson is reporting that Robert Griffin III will indeed enter the 2012 NFL draft. By the way, happy new year everyone.

Can RG3 run the West Coast O? Serious question, does his skill set adapt to that offense? Might exclude a guy like Holmgren from going after him.

I think RG3 can run any offense. Seriously.

I say that because he is super smart, and his skill set is awesome.

Forget it.

We don't have the ammo to move up to #2 from #9 to get him. Anything is possible but its not likely.

Someone will move up from 3-7 and nab him.

That's what a couple of "feel good" utterly meaningless wins in Nov and Dec get you....sad smiley

Yes Griffin can run the west coast offense. To be sucessful in that system you need above all else intellegence, touch, accuaracy and timing...He has all of those things.

RG III will be a star in this league....in any system.

Reppa has been right about him.

Granted, his size isn't ideal but he's at least 6'1 (probably between 6'2 and 6'3) and he's a legit 215+lbs.

He's highly intelligent.

He's got a big league arm.

He's got excellent mechanics.

His foot work in the pocket is outstanding.

Good touch and accuracy, and the best long ball in D1.

He's an exceptional athlete.

But most importantly, as evidenced by his HUGE improvements in most of the above categories, he is coach-able.

I'm not the biggest Andrew Luck fan, I agree with Phil Simms, but I'm a big fan of RG III.

Would love to get him. But we won't.

I think the Top 3 teams, The Colts , The Rams , and the Vikings all have so many issues ALL of them are up for Trades. eye rolling smiley

Ross was booed out the stadium Today. He wants to make amends. He will trade the farm for a Top Notch QB...........

Agreed.

But it costs a lot more to move up from #9 to #1 or #2 then it does from # 4 or #5.

Too bad Barkley stayed in school.

We could have probably moved up ahead of Washington to grab him.
