Born in Frankfurt Germany. Emigrated to Canada as a youngster, Upstate NY as a teenager then on to Virginia Beach and then to Fort Lauderdale Florida. I currently live in Costa Rica but I still have the house in Florida. That's where I am currently for the hollidays.

Born & raised in Hawaii from a town called Kailua on the island of Oahu. Now live in a town called Kaneohe on the island of Oahu.

Prior Navy Seabee, switched over to the Air Force reserve. Four years left to retire from that yippie!!! Also a full time DOD civilian since 1983. Gonna try to stick it out with that for 10 more years.

I don't have any native Hawaiian blood in me, but my adult children do from their mother.

I became a Dolphins fan decades ago because I grew up with the ocean. And yes I eat raw fish lol!

I think it would be hilarious if each & every one of us were all at a sports bar at the same place & time. I'd buy y'all a round

1948 born in Oklahoma to age 15 to Los Angeles to Purdue Univ. 66-67 where Griese played QB to becoming a Dolfan in 1967 when he signed with Miami to ultimately settling in the Los Angeles area.

born in brooklyn NY and now living in pa and working in philly. Became a fins fan in the early 80's cause of marino. The funny thing is im a huge dolphins fan but only been to miami maybe 4 times in my life lol... Although i was born in NY i hate all NY teams knicks, giants, yankees and expecially the JETS

Allentown, Pa (except for 4 years in the Army). Been a Fins fan since 1970.

Born in Philly, was already a Phins fan in '72 when I was 4 years old (my 1st football memory is watching them beat the Skins in the Superbowl, and I know I was rooting for them then). Went to grad school in Rhode Island, and used to go to the Phins-Patsies game in Foxboro every year then, back when Marino was QB (the Phins won every game). Live just outside of Clearwater, FL now.

Born in Philly, grew up about an hour from there, now in Upstate NY. Followed the Dolphins since '72, when I was really too young to understand what a big deal an undefeated season was.

sounds like most of the fans are old timers who got into the team back in the 70s when they were great (not surprising). I wonder if there are many young non-Miami folks who are big fans of the team. I bet not--and that's a big problem for the team, as it seems to be becoming irrelvant nationally, much like you rarely see a browns fan or cards fan or bengals fan anywhere other than those cities. When I lived in random places before I could always count on finding a fellow fins fan, now I bet not so much. Though I have sunday ticket so finding a local "fins" bar to watch the game isn't so important anymore.

Military brat so lived all over, but most of the younger years were in VA. Where I grew to hate the 'skins and love the 'phins.
Now in North FL.

Born in Washington DC; then moved to Philly, then moved to New Jersey, then moved to North Carolina, and I have been in Louisville since 1969.

My Dad was a US Navy Doctor. Both my Dad and Mom's families come from Louisville.

I started my fascination with the Dolphins back in 1976. Don't know why I chose the Dolphins, but I have lived and died with then since 1976.

This year has been different (for me) than all the other years. I think because we are just not improving over the long haul. Actually, we are getting worse in my opinion. Don't get mixed up with this "fools gold" of a winning streak.

If Ross does not come out in early Jan 2012 with both guns a blazing to get the coach he wants and then again in April to get the QB he wants, then we will continue to be Median Miami.

your probably right berk, but i am a young non-miami person who is a big fan. born in 1990 in omaha, NE. still live there. learned about the fins from my dad. grew up watching Marino finish up his career and the wanny era. only get to hear about the glory days from the 70's and 80's.

I am 29, none FL person.....only daydreaming of the day where I can see the Phins in the Superbowl.

Is he with the KC-135's or C-17's?

I'm with the Aerial Port (48th APS). You should catch a MAC over here one of these days to meet up with your buddy. We could all get together...as
long as he isn't a Jets fan lol!

He is on the C-17 side of the house. LOL, and he isnt a jets fan....come on man, he wouldn't be my friend! HAHAHA.
