So fortunate that the call goes our way, but can we please be smart and snap the ball a quicker... while i type this Matt throws a big floater for an INT...
The receiver HAS to come back on a ball like that...they are coached to do just that. Hartline HAS to become a defender and aggressiveley come back to the ball.
Someone on the Phins HAS to rise up and make some plays to get us some momentum back. No one except for Bush is looking like they even care right now.

well football is a game of halfs and momentum. I think we throttled down when we had it and should have had another td, we ran and they got a chance to get 3 and the ball at the half. Anyway we are still in this thing. If someone told any of you that the score would be NE20 fins 17 in the fourth and we have the ball would you take that? i would. We are doing well.

RE: I agree that he ran a good route giving him really good position. That's the first half of the equation...but there is more to it than running a good route. The second half of the equation is the part Hartline didn't do. I played WR and they ARE taught to come back to the ball on plays such as that. Hartline SAW the ball hang up and didn't pull up hard enough...it's that simple. Because he SAW the ball hang up and did nothing to go after it that's why he gets blame.
Moore's ball hung up and the announcers mentioned wind caused it. If we are going to say that's true, then it was not Moore's fault. If you want to fault Moore at all, then it should be for attempting that throw in the first place...I don't for trying to hit a WIDE OPEN receiver.
Well this should get us a tad closer to not being able to draft Luck...defense simply cannot stop anyone since the half. Everything's bad for them right now, angles, tackling, heart, strength, emotion...everything.
i cant completely disagree with ken, i also played wr and on a bad pass like that it is the receivers job to help the qb. Howver i would say that was definitely a terrible ball, inexcusible for a professional qb. People throw spirals to prevent the wind from catching it. But in the end you cant boil moore 8+ games down to one pass. I would give him a B+ for the season. He does not suck.
Anyway with a bills win we move infront of them as well as carolina, there is a bright side...
Beautifull pass from Moore. I wonder where todays developments put us in the draft?
What this game does show though is that we can play with the best teams in the league...but it also shows that we need some more high quality parts...on both sides of the ball and those are beyond a quarterback.
