Reggie Bush needs 27 more yards to reach 1,000 yards rushing for the first time in his NFL career. However, that isn’t most significant milestone if Bush reaches the century mark. It would also make him and Brandon Marshall the only tandem in franchise history to produce 1,000 yards rushing and receiving in the same season. Marshall surpassed the barrier last week against Buffalo. “That’s a little shocking,” Marshall said. “But when you look at the history of the offense around here, when they had Dan Marino, I don’t think they knew what a running game was. That’s probably why he has all of those records.”

And unfortunately for Dan, he didn't know what it was like to have a defense either. The man carried this team on his shoulders for his entire career.

I agree on both of those facts. However, I'm not sure that Brandon was saying it in the same spirit you are 808phan.

The only stat that matters is championships, with the perfection thing as icing on the cake.

Ask Dan if he would give up all of his stats (everyone of his records) for one super bowl win. He would in a heart beat - he has stated so.

Stats are for people that did not get the main prize and want to perform some type of mental masturbation.

Forget pro bowl players, I want super bowl players.
