This is a moderated phorum for the CIVILIZED discussion of the Miami Dolphins. In this phorum, there are rules and moderators to make sure you abide by the rules. The moderators for this phorum are JC and Colonel.
Rex Ryan is still talking but running out of positive things to say about his team. Although he's toned it down, he should be saying: "Playoffs?" a la Jim Mora, as the Jets are really struggling.
How will the Jets fan tolerate more losses? Will they get on Ryan's back--or just tell him off?
Don't know what it is, but when the Jets Suck Too........it sort of makes everything the Dolphins are going through OK. Especially since they have a 1st round QB, Tons of $$$$$ invested , and a Coach who keeps claiming they have the Superbowl in da bag. What a douche. LOVE IT!

no you don't, not really. bc the only sure way for that to happen is if we beat them at the end of the year---and I know you don't want to lose draft position for a meaningless win!!
If the Jets are struggling then how would you describe the 2011 Miami Dolphins.
IMHO, I find it funny that when our team's season is dead after the first 7 games, we critize other teams in our division that are actually doing better than us.
I know a lot of people here hate the Jets, but how would we take it if we were fighting for a play off spot now and the jets were in our position and their fans were critiziing the Miami Dolphins organization for thier performance?
I do not hate the Jets (or any other team) and I will concentrate on my team until they are relavent. Then I may (probably will) make comments about how other teams are not as good as my team or as good as they should be.

Ok, you definately got me there. But there should be a scenario where they beat us next week and still not be in the playoffs, right!?

On the last week of the season if all the Jests need is just a win to get into the playoffs you cannot POSSIBLY! EVEN CONSIDER! rooting for a Phins loss just for a little bit of a higher pick.
Seriously??
Don't worry about the freaking draft positioning at this point, it is what it is and will take care of itself.
Rooting for the Jests to make the playoffs on the last game of the season is just totally fkd up!
With Luck going to Indy we will land one of Jones,GriffinIII or Barkley, even with another win or 2, just look at the teams ahead and hovering around with us, not too many teams will take a first round QB, there's too many needs in other places on a lot of those teams.
And IF Miami is FINALLY serious about a QB in the first round we will move up and get our guy if Ireland,Ross etc.... have any brains in their heads.
razor, you are wrong, luck barkley and rg3 will go 1, 2, 3 once all the teams who want them trade up. None of them will fall to us, especially if we win any more games.
1,2,3, is possible but consider that the Vikes or Rams may sit tight to grab Kalil since they desperately need help at LT and he is one of the best prospects in recent years. if they trade down then they likely will not be able to get kalil
You guys gotta remember that not all draft prospects are a 100% sure thing. Luck is as close as you get though. After that teams might not want to chance it, especially after spending a high draft pick recently , like the rams or the Vikes.
I think we have a shot at one of them in the top 5.
Adam Schefter just said on Sportscenter that it will take atleast 3 First round picks, and 2 second round picks to get Luck. Maybe 4 first round picks.

Miami Blew how many 1st rounders & second rounders in the last decade..........More then 3&2. What do we have to show for it?
seriously, 3 1st rounders is a bit too much. Maybe 2 #1's and then 3 3rd rounders. We need at least a second rounder in every draft.
