I was reading some absurd poll and post and I thought since others are posting ridiculous polls and post that dont make a bit of sense I might as well add my own as well... SO feast on it...lol

Jake long is not a pest like marshall is and i cant wait till they get rid of marshall.

I think it was posted as a joke. HOWEVER it is conceivable that we'd consider trading Jake Long in a package to move up to #1 or #2. In which case we may be looking at Jerry as our starting LT!!

Not to highjack a joke post---but would you give up Jake Long, our #1 and 2 this year, and #1 next year to get Andrew Luck (tho it may take more than that!). How about to get Barkely or RG3 (I think it would take less than that, but Long and a #1 and maybe #2).

Yes, I would package JL to move up for a franchise QB. Yes, hands down.

a and o, would you give up Jake Long, this years #1, next years #1, this years #2, next years #2, and Sean Smith for Andrew Luck? It may take that or even more? Or how about that package for Barkley/RG3, minus Smith and next years #2 (so this years and next years #1, Jake Long, and this years #2 for Barkley/RG3)?

nope. OL is probably our weakest position group. im fine with packaging a top player but we really can't afford to give up our best OL and when healthy the best LT in the league. our oline would then be in shambles. also, i think you might be getting a bit carried away in what we would have to give up. we would only have to give up that much if we win out which seems unlikely.

todd mcshay's mock has barkley falling to us at 8, 1 pick after RG3. I don't see that happening at all. No way 1 of those gets past the browns, and the other past the skins.

Can't vote...we should keep both.

LA Times sports article speculates today that Barkley could go number 1 overall.

no. we keep carey at RG. he has actually done quite well once he adjusted to guard. let jerry and murtha battle for RT if we can't find anyone better.

carey is most likely gone after this yr, he's a f.a.

he is a FA but i could see him taking a hometown discount to stick around. he did it this year and he will not command big money in the open market. lots of good OG this off season

1. Carey is gone after this year. He's played horrible.

Yes that and for consistency... People will justify something just as crazy in another post because the have a vendetta or personal dislike for a player...

Get me a superstar rookie QB in this years draft and watch hartline make the pro bowl. Yup i feel hartline has a lot of potential. You know at least he makes the acrobatic catch when the throw him the football unlike marshall.

lol with u guys.....Dont have to look very hard to refute this, but I like Sam Sam, so I won't... Dont always have the same opinion but I like him, he believes what he says.... Sometimes it boggles my mind, but such is life on phins.com.... You arent going to agree with everyone and everything... It is funny to see the sides jump around from topic to topic, but that is what makes it legit... Say what you intelligently believe, no matter what others may think of it... It is good for character....
