Dude........I hate the Pats as much as the Next guy , buts that really Wrong and you know it. I think Marino was better then Brady but it took alot more then a great QB to win a superbowl, let alone 3 out of 4.
Put me on the List......The Meatball needs a one way Ticket back to Jersey or CT. Whereever as long as he clears Jacksonville by Jan 2.
Get your list together, but you surely arent gonna be the one to name it, you gave us our name, we give you all your name. Turnabout is fair play in my book, no?
SO you are rolling with Treasure you and Sam Sam....
and its sure sounds like you can add A&O to the other list...
I am kind leaning towards something like BBB's or Brooklyn Bridge Buyers, but I am still yet undecided I have a few good ones kicking around.... I will let u know....
not sure what will constitute right and wrong here outside of wrong in this case beign we winn a sb with t.s.and right beign we have a losing record next year..so not sure i get all the chest pumpin over who is right or wrong...i think BNF said it best...if there is a better option (and by that i mean soemone the organazation feels real strong about)then pull the trigger but at this point (and a few weeks ago i never thought id say this) t.s. has bought himself consideration moving forward esp if they can finish strong...but if we dont see "our" guy available and we continue to finish strong i wouldnt be as pissed as i would have a few weeks ago if he gets one more year
Yes, Sparano's future should be contingent upon his and the teams, performance the rest of the season.
Any less than that is doing him, the team...and US the fans a disservice at this point.
And for the record, I said that if we were 0 for at the bye...Sparano should be fired at that point. The teams performance since has made me demonstrate much deserved IMHO, pause.

I can't put you in either category if you are a "pause," Ken.
assumed you meant next year..my point is twofold 1)you will never really be proven right outside a t.s. caoched team being same or worse next year or wrong outside a new coach making a semi legti playoff run next year 2)t.s. has at least put himself into consideration for going forward and at the very least not beign axed unless we have a coach that the FO feels strongly about....to just fire t.s. at seasons end and replace him with anyone we can get our hands on will just set the team back
all that beign said if we had soemoen that seemed liek a strong oppurtunity i am all for pullign the trigger but to just fire t.s. and throw something at the wall just seems knee jerk and counterproductive imo...so put me on which ever list you want the whole list and i was right you were wrong thing just seems kinda pointless in the end but i guess it passes time
If you look at the Pats and Belicheat....he inherited a BIll Parcells built defence, with Bledsoe. Bledsoe got hurt and the back-up turned out to be pretty good ( sound familiar?)
The diference is the Pats were able to get a 1st rounder for their injured starter.
when you have a franchsie QB you can spend draft picks on supporting cast. Fewer gambles, deeper roster. Now you can trade veterans for picks because you have young guys pushing for playing time.
Without Brady....Belichek is average.
Shula had the misfortune of having Marino during the transition of the free agency period. It changed the amount of power coaches had, it changed player attitudes, and it impacted roster building. I believe that Shula would have figured it out if given a few more years...but the game changed at a key point in Marino's career.
I never thought Bellicheat was the reason for the Patsies wins and always thought it was Brady and former Dolphin Wes Welker.
But one thing you can say for Bellicheat is that he DOESN'T GET IN THE WAY of Brady and Welker and he doesn't make stupid decisions that lose games and he doesn't pull back on Brady and tell him to play not to lose.
What you guys are forgetting , he inherited Drew Bledsoe with some Gas in the tank. Bledsoe was extremely popular in new England. To come in and just trade his ass to a division rival in favor of a 6th round draft choice Took some huge brass ones.
Could you EVER see Saprano taking a chance like that!? Never in a Million years.

Actually, Ireland would be making the trade, not Sparano. But, I'm sure if we even attempted such a thing fans would be up in arms and calling for his firing.
