If these two teams played in the Superbowl, who would you root for?

I hate to say I'd root for the Pats, but I'd root for the Pats. We MUST defend the undefeated season!!!
Now, I don't, seriously, believe the Pats will make it to the Superbowl. I think it will be Pitt, and I have no issue rooting for Pitt. Should be a great one of it is!!
Does the undefeated season really even mean that much anymore? (and before anyone questions my fandom or age, i'm 45 yrs old and been a fan since the 70's) I'm more pissed that Marino's records are gonna fall because they changed the rules so much to protect the QBs then I would be if the Pack go unblemished.
I would HEARTILY root for the Patriots! What you don't realize Dolphaholic is that the undefeated season is like a precious gem in your safe.
You ask does it mean that much anymore.
The answer is yes because it's something that we and we alone have.
If the Pack goes undefeated, then that precious gem will disappear.
The Pack won't have the gem itself because NEITHER WILL THEY BE THE ONLY UNDEFEATED TEAM IN HISTORY.
There is a difference between being ONE OF A NUMBER OF TEAMS THAT WENT UNDEFEATED and being THE ONLY TEAM THAT HAS EVER GONE UNDEFEATED.
It's a precious gem that will be lost and can never be retrieved.
Hate for the Patriots ain't worth it.
Yeah, you brought up the old days.
Let me bore you with them but not in the way you think I will.
Let's put the Hate for the Patriots into Historical perspective. We've always had deadly enemies.
When I first became a rooter in the Fall of 1967, the dominant team in our AFL Division was the New York Jets and Joe Willy. The Patriots were a joke.
The Jets did not stay our most hated rivals for long. When the merger between the NFL and AFL occurred, the Baltimore Colts were placed in our division. They then had Johnny Unitas and Bert Jones and the rivalry with them was even more intense than the rivalry with the Pats now. And that's just not because My ex-wife was a virulent Unitas fan.
Then it didn't take long for Joe Ferguson and OJ Simpson to come on the scene and all of a sudden, our greatest rivals were the Buffalo Bills.
Then we had as our chief rivals the Colts again and occasionally the Jets and the Patriots being ANYTHING BUT DOORMATS is a VERY RECENT PHENOMENA from a historical standpoint.
So, do I want to give up this precious gem just to stick it to the "flavor of the month" or the "most hated enemy of the day?"
I have to go for the Patriots if this were the case in the SUperbowl. I never had disdain for the Patriots as others. They have always respected Miami, and we normally have played pretty well against them. That dont talk trash about us... Other then clearing the snow game. I dont really have anything against the patriots other then they are good and really havent closed the deal in several years.
