IF they are placing teams with identical records in alphabetical order they have failed in the NFC south. They have Tampa above Carolina. Tampa beat Carolina in their only head to head (they play this comming weekend I believe), but it is inconsistent what they are doing.

Must be the new NFL rule. If you're NE you automatically win any tiebreaker. Goodell will next be petitioning for a new rule that allows NE to win games without actually playing.

It's probably based on the result of the latest head-to-head. At least the web site programmers aren't deciding who makes the playoffs!

After looking at it I think they place teams with the same records in the order of total point difference.

Thats wrong also, if you reconfigure it and sort it by conference they have the colts ahead of the Ravens and the pats are still ahead of us.

I'm about as sick of the pats and jets as any of you are. Especially the pats.

I prefer it listed like that because it makes it look like the under dog and it wont get their heads up too high. It is simple. Play out winning and we host.

From dres9711:

Uh... I'm not sure what you mean, but the way they list the teams with tied records with in one division is in the order of "Net points" which is the difference between "points for" and "points against".

However, if you differentiate as you intergrate you will disintergrate.smoking smiley
