Every QB is entitled to ONE great game. Henne passed for almost 500 yards against the Pats. Of course, Henne lost, but he played against a team with a very good offense. KC isn't going to the Superbowl. I guarantee that.

I can promise u very few have put up a qb rating of 147.5, especially against a team with a winning record... THose are all facts... Kc has a winning record, and Matt Moore graded out that high... A Qb rating grades it all, not just one stat like yards..... Henne tapped out his highest I believe in his first game against the jets around 125 or so... in those orange uniforms... Marino did it once at 147.5 in his record season of 1984, and superbowl appearance came with it...

And Fiedler did it twice,, ho hum.

Matt Moore is not a one game wonder he can be a 2 or 3 game wonder at times. I watched him at Carolina he will look solid for a few games then Matt 'The Interception Machine' Moore will return. Hes got guts, a good arm, and leadership. But he takes fits of BAD decision making. He reads quicker and is more mobile than Henne but I wouldn't call him a HUGE improvement....YET!

DBs were actually allowed to play defense in Marino's day.

I would love to have Matt Moore as a 3rd stringer. Thats all he is good for. Nothing more.

This is exaclty the Miami Dolphins problem in my humble opinion.

Don't get too excited over one play or one game.

Really good players and really good teams do not sit back and say...look at waht I did this one play or this one game.

Yeah, but even his BAD decision making is better than the INCOMPREHENSIBLE decision making of Sparano and the Offensive cooridinators of the past.

And that means that the one thing he has OVER HENNE is the brains to shake off those BRAIN DEAD playcalls and instead choose to run what is RIGHT!!!!

I remember that game, as I'm sure a lot of you do. First game of the '84 season, Marino throws 5 TDs against a Redskins team that had gone to the Super Bowl the previous year (they got killed in the SB, but anyway). Marino's QB rating for the game was something like 150.

That wasn't even the highest single-game rating for a Miami QB that year, as later in the season Jim Jensen posted the maximum possible 158.3. He threw one pass and completed it for a touchdown.

I'm getting some very bad dejevu here. Mat moore is a decent QB. definitely superior to chad henne for sure. We win 2-3 more games , finish at 4-12 for the season. Pick around 5th or 6th in the draft.

We get a new head coach. He likes Moore, but the Top QB drafts are gone........what are we to do? Our BEST bet at a Franchise QB was last year , with Brian Mallet or Andy Dalton. Do you think the Pats let Mallet go for a first rounder?

Our shot at a legitimate Franchise QB may have long sailed.

I like moore but he is a back up....not the future.

Moore is perfect for us.

we draft Luck, Jones, or Barkley and start Moore 2012. Let the rookie watch for half the season or so. If Moore sucks then the rookie comes in with little pressure on him.

Moore is good enough to start some games next season. If he lights it up? Awesome. It is a win-win scenario
