Damn it feels good to see this team finally win

I know the whole suck for Luck thing might be in jeopardy however I can't stand watching my favorite team continue to lose every freaking week. What does this win mean perhaps not much, but it shows what this team can do win it plays without mistakes, turnovers, and stupid penalties. We will win a few more games, and then it will still be time to clean house, but for at least one week we played like a real solid NFL team is supposed to play. This my friends is what has been sorely missing for some time, and for just one day I am proud to root for the Miami Dolphins once again. I just can't understand why it took so long for this team to come together to get it's first win. Damn we really did miss the offseson I guess. Sad really if only we could of jelled earlier what would of been this season if that had of happened? Anyway let's all enjoy this win because we long suffering fans deserve to relish this day.

Not sure whetre this team has been. D looked good, They finally used Bush and marshall like they should, but we really need Luck or Barkley although I like Moore.

I know when we win we still lose could in the long run by missing out on drafting Andrew Luck go figure. This team it seems just can't catch a break either way.

We just didn't win. It was 31-3.

Some part of our coaching must not have had much of a say.

I didn't see the brain dead offensive and defensive play calling that I have see in other weeks.

We are 1-7. Yet, if you add up all the points scored by US versus all the points scored by our opponents, with that 1-7 record, we are only NEGATIVE 31 TOTAL POINTS OVERALL as a deficit.

Spread out over the 7 losses, that about an average of 4.something points per game.

That had to be bad coaching and not bad players.

yeah chyren it seems the philosophy has changed for the better, when we got up 14-3 we didnt just call dive plays for the rest of the game we kept being aggressive and attacking with the pass... I loved it cause the chefs were 10-6 last year and just won 4 straight and moved into first in there division. I think we made quite a statement smiling smiley

8-8 is just one game from 9-7 and the possibility of the playoffs.

1-7 is just one game from 0-8 and the possibility of drafting Andrew Luck. You guys are jumping the gun bigtime. This was ONE game.

I don't think were jumping the gun because we are as talented a team in the league compared to the others. We just could not play as a team , and win when the game was on the line until yesterday. I believe that now once we got our 1st win we will see many more because were not that bad, and we can only get better from here. So for what it's worth if we play like this every week, and I know we won't we could possibly win 6 out of our next 8 games. Then the question would be what would Ross do with Sparano, and Ireland then?

It was good to see the O-line finally playing well enough to give the QB the time to make the reads and allow the TE to do something besides stay back and block. Colombo is still the weak link but even he was playing better.

Dump 'em. Suck-for-Luck aside, a 7-2 or so finish would be great for this team, but Sparano and Ireland would still have to answer for the 0-7 start. And don't give me the short off-season excuse; every team in the league had the same short off-season, and the only other team that couldn't get a win in its first seven games was the Colts (now 0-9 and firmly in the Suck-for-Luck driver's seat). At least Indy has the excuse of losing one of the best QBs ever before the season started.

Yes, I know who you're talking about and you're right, nobody heard that all day yesterday. ha hah

I've hated the chiefs ever since the Longest Game on Christmas Day 1971, when my cousin talked crap all day rooting for the chiefs to win.

Sure, but how much of that good O-Line play was BAD D-Line play by KC? Remember the preseason game against Carolina? Our O-Line looked GREAT in that game, and that was without Jake Long!

Im not even going to go that far....Im going to go as far as the last time we played the chiefs when they scored a bunch of TDs....We won i know...But

I couldnt take it no more hearing that guy say that no more.

PS. thats probably how jet fans felt when they heard the late mandich ( rest in peace ) go........ALLLLLLLLLLLLRIGHT MIIIIIIIAMI.

Goes both ways.

When the pressure is really on good teams win consistently. When it is the opening game of the season and you play one of the best teams in the league, who is also in you division, you don't give up over 500 yards passing and loose if you are a good team. When your next opponent is one that you have never beat, NEVER BEAT, and you loose at home to them while showing that your defense HAS NO HEART you know you suck. When you loose 12 of your last 13 home games you know you suck. When you can't keep a 15 point lead in the second half of the 4th quarter you know you suck. Whne you finally win your FIRST game at the half way point of your season you should know that you suck and that your entire organization will be dismantled come the end of the season.

The only thing that we should still be talking about is who will be the next coach and who will be the next QB becasue when you put lipstick on a pig all you have is lipstick on a pig.

GO MIAMI!!!

SUCK FOR LUCK!!!

Monte, my post was a response to berk's post which stated that at best we were a 8-8 team.

Therefore, I was only saying that conceding that, we would only have to better that record by one game to have a shot at the playoffs (assuming the other teams in our division also went 9-7 and we had a chance to win the division tiebreaker).

I was not saying, Montequi, that our win meant we were a 9-7 team.
