I got sooooo much slack in the beginning of the year to want to throw in the towel on this year after the first 2 losses....now everyone is up for what I said early this year...SUCK FOR LUCK!!

Glad everyone finally is listening to me (a realist) to tanking the season. My motto has always been, if you are not going to the superbowl...tank your season and get draft picks.

Its called cheating..and its worked well for others...now its our turn to start cheating.

ahh this where i disagree with ya...i might,might be for havign the worst record this year because luck sounds to be a truly rare commodidty but most years it makes no sense and im not even sure it makes sense thi syear...to take consolation in a horrble season by getting what from what every pundit seems to agree is a blue chip prsopect but it comes at a price imo...1-15 or 0-16 aND 7-9 AND 8-8has soem differences and you cant just dismiss them.. a stud qb can be wasted away on a 1-15 team without soem more additions to support him and a change in the whole team culture which would certainly be in order

ahh, but his last name is Luck and we can use a change of luck. I still see him in a helmet with a lucky horseshoe though.

As nice as it sounds to have multiple low round draft picks, you still someone who knows how to use them.
I still haven't forgiven Ireland for the Pat White pick, and I think he has done a very below average job as GM.
In reality, Ireland is the main player who should take the blame for the current state of our Phins.
Selecting Sparano as the head coach was his first glaring mistake.
It's all fine and dandy that his players play hard for him (Jets game?), but he is the worst game time manager in the history of the franchise, rivaling Wanny.
The gruesome twosome of Ireland and Sparano is where our problems lie.
Replacement is the only option.

You also got flak because you posted, during New England's attempt at an undefeated season, that you wanted the Pats to run the table.

When Fiedler was QB there were posters on this board who were saying we should tank the season every year as well.

Who the hell gives up on their team after 2 games? We started the 2008 season 0-2 and ended up winning the division.

You deserved to get slack, giving up on the team that early.

Now that they went 0-4, 0-5 and now 0-6 more positive thinking fans that were hopeful early on are slowly joining the suck for Luck campaign as the weeks go on (myself included).

You are the most negative fan I've ever seen on here, If I was as frustrated as you about the team and rooting for 1st round draft picks year after year when the season is 2 games in I wouldn't even bother coming on message boards to talk about how horrible the team is.

maybe but at least by playing this season we confirmed our suckiness and therefore for sure will be getting rid of (1) sporano (2) ireland (3) henne, and will be getting a franchise 1st round QB. None of that would've happened if this year was canceled. look on the bright side!!!

Another intelligent paragraph. If you looked how long I have been here, you would know I am a true fan of the Dolphins since 1969, but the reason you have only see mostly negative quotes is that we have not been steller for a very long time, longer than this forum has been around is my guess.
