anyone get the sinking feeling he could be our coach next year.
it fits the criteria. "splashy" move that no one with any football sense would make. they seemed awfully chummy on the sideline. and you know steve ross will hire anyone who will be his buddy and make him feel cool.

No. It wont happen. I will bet you a million bucks.

This is honestly a topic that is not even worth talking about.

I honestly think Ross will shoot for a bigger fish, ala Cowher/Gruden/Fisher (I know, I know, Gruden just signed an extension, which i'm sure contained an escape clause). Lets just hope whoever it is, pulls the trigger on one of the stud QB's coming out (Barkely looked awfully good last night also)

Peter King says he wants Cowher. Then again, Peter King is an idiot who doesn't know anything but what Tom Brady texts him, so...

Yes. Well, atleast this idea. The guy is a college coach who was there for a halftime celebration. Thats it.

Nothing else really needs to be spoken about it.

yes he's a college coach who's success will not translate to the nfl. but he's not the first college coach to get an nfl offer and ross is stupid enough to make him one. hope you are right but we will see

This is, I hope, a classic example of just reading too much into a harmless situation.

Ross was simply talking to a former college coach, who retired for health reasons, and who happened to be part of a half-time celebration. What was Ross supposed to do? Punch him in the mouth?

I'm sure he was simply being cordial. Not everyone Ross talks to between now and the offseason is going to be a potential coaching hire.

NOPE!!

Meyer quit the college game for health reasons, no way he could handle the Pro game and the level of stress it brings.

They'll probably go and out and hire someone like Wade Phillips.
