Jesus allowed himself to be crucified , knowing that only through death could victory over death be achieved. He allowed himself to be scorned, beaten, condemmed, and put to death....to atone for the sins of others.
He did not desire it....he wished there was another way...but he accepted it, allowed it, participated in it.
hmmmm......sounds like a plan.
I am not saying the players should lay down and submit. BUT if Ross directs his GM and coaches to play rookies, or whatever.....you know ordain certain circumstances....then perhaps the Father's PLan is worth worth emulating.
You think you have it bad? i bought my Son and my Dad tickets to see the Broncos next week. I HAVE to go otherwise dissapoint my family. At least at home I could ghance the channel.........
hey, at least you didn't buy a plane ticket and game ticket (x2) to watch the phins crap the bed vs the browns!!
on the upside, cleveland ain't all that bad of a town!

"Sure, luck means a lot in football. Not having a good quarterback is bad luck." Don Shula
So since Luck is a good quarterback, then having him would be good luck. Since obtaining him requires having the 1st overall pick, I believe we would be lucky to loose every game. They say luck is when hard work meets opportunity, but I think we should hardly work for this opportunity to get Luck. Unfortunately, I think it will be the Colts who get Luck because they have luck. Afterall, they have a horseshoe on their helmet.
I think you have snatched the pebble from the master's hand.
Here's a quote:
The angle of the dangle...no, that's an old one.
There once was a team in Miami,
That could beat you like a salami
But now that the Vouge owners are in town,
All the fans have frowns, the players are clowns,
And its pure Luck that will bring back the whammy.

thanks A&O, I thought about it, then did some good reading and realized, what type of example would I set by quitting the site, over being upset about so many people saying our team should quit, the hypocrisy was to much for obvious reasons...

crowder you are working too hard to remain positive! don't fight it, recognize this team for what it is and what it isn't, and keep your eye on what will hopefully be a brighter future

Aw man, the greatest (in my book) Drummer and rock lyricist of ALL TIME, bar none. Which is why I feel the need to correct your spelling of Professor PEART's name. Pert is a shampoo, Peart is an immortal!

Clara Peller. Why do I remember that? I'm full of useless information.
She was on the air with Dick Butkus one time and said "what kind of name is butt-kiss anyway?"

Yeah but look on the bright side! Dolphins Football is only one of the things you can do at Sun Life stadium. If the game gets boring you can look at that stupidass kangaroo vision thing, go inside the stadium away from the field, go to the night club, play "spot the celebrity in the skybox" if you bring your binoculars, etc.

It really isn't, right? I got dragged there one weekend and between the rock n roll HOF, the Flats, and a couple historic districts it was all right! "Mistake by the lake" it is not.

If the phin players play to lose............Why in the hell should we want them to win?
Prove is marshall ran out of bounds on purpose instead of scoring a td.....we all saw it with our own eyes.
this team is a lost cause and the players are to blame and coaches too..
Just hoping we clean house and get rid of the pests and coaches and start all over again.

The phins are a piece of $H!T and they are playing like it..
Get used to it. Its going to take from 3-5 year to fix this IMO.
Marshall is a piece of $H!T as a person and as a player.
1. As a player he has been dropping passes on purpose. He is not even trying.
2. As a person...with his family he is another piece of $H!T....what more prove do you want than his own mistreess stabbing him....What kind of people does he hang with.....? People just like him!
Gotta get rid of this $CUM and every other player whos tanking the season.....
I dont want them to win.......Period........
Because they dont want to win!
Why should i want this sorry bunch to win a game? And miss out on the first pick overall....?
Oh and im not going anywhere. Im always going to be a dolphin fan.
