Ecstatic, because there is a real good chance we dont win 8 games if we draft luck next year... How many did peyton win his first year 2, Troy Aikman 1.... And who knows how well he will play after that anyways...

I would rather have Cam Newton then Luck.... And I have had conviction on Newton last year... In my eyes Cam Newton is more of a sure thing then Luck.... TO be a sure thing, I need to see a couple of things, you have the physical make up to last in the NFL. You have this edgy unnerving desire to win ball games and you make it happen at every level you have played... You have not had it easy, and were cherry picked and catered to your hole life, you can handle adversity, even better you thrive and rise to the top during adversity... A guy that wakes up every day, and says the lion is coming to eat me, if I dont pus myself farther, harder and smarter then any man that wants to beat me on that field... I havent seen that in Luck yet.... Cam Newton had all of those attirbutes which is why I knew long ago he will be successfull..... Why was little Doug FLutie able to play well, or how about Wes Welker on pace to break all WR records this year, and he was an undrafted FA at one point... It is about your heart and make up and resilience and focus in the face of adversity..... If you want a sure thing show me all of those qualties and I will agree a sure thing, without these qualities, there is no sure thing... And I would not bet the franchise on Luck at this point, even though i like him.... I see another Chad pennington from Luck, which isnt bad, but Pennington is out of football and he doesnt own any even AFC championship trophies, let alone a SUperbowl.

Yes, to clarify. It's just a saying. It doesn't have anything to do with carnal knowledge of a live or dead duck. Or someone from the University of Oregon.

seriously POd. We won 9 and 10 and 11 games with Jay Feidler. Where'd that get us? Luck or bust.

I'm at #3. I can't commit all the way to losing , I'm as wishy washy on this subject as one can be. I'm just going to sit back and let the cards fall where they may. If we suck and get Luck, great, It was meant to be. If we start winning and land in the Top ten, so be it. This is a really weird season so far. I really look forward to it being over either way and moving on . One thing for sure is , I want a new head coach for this team. Parcells missed the boat on that one.

If Moore is our starter from the 1st game we at least win 1 if not 2 games because Henne absolutely sucks when he gets near the red zone. Moore can't be as bad as Henne when it comes to red zone offense. That alone improves our ball club 25%.

What gives you that idea? Maybe the stellar year he had with Carolina last season?
