So Marino was asked to void his contract so the team could re-sign some key free agents.
Marino said...yeah I will do that...whatever it takes. The Dave F%#KING WANNSTACHE pushes him out the door....when he still had another year or 2 in the tank.
I think Dan's grandmother, or some other Italian old lady...or a local Carribean voodoo woman put a curse on the team.
The question is....what do they have to do to undo it?
JJ left embarrassed
Wanny was humiliated
Saban tucked his tail and embarrassed himself
Cameron was embarrased
and now Bill FREAKIN PARCELLS looks like an A$$, and all his protoge's with him.
please, lady......isn't that enough? Can the curse be lifted now?
It was most certainly a genuine Italian malocchio (evil eye) curse .
Piss off an elderly Italian lady and it won't be forgotten for quite a while, I'm here to tell you.
I think the curse is living and breathing in the form of Coach Sparano. I mean think about it. He has an eye problem, from getting burned in a kitchen. Or does he? Maybe those sunglasses are hiding a double evil-eye! And we get guys with the names Sparano, Incognito, Fasano, and Columbo. The curse is spreading!

Okay take it easy, all you sensitive people out there, I'm Italian-American myself, just (trying to) have a little fun here.
To undo a curse on the Dolphins you first have to believe in your team, than you must chant for them before every game, but most importantly you have to have a lot of Luck in doing so.
Looks like we're on the right track to get some Luck.
Ireland couldn't get 4 QB's looking for work to agree to a contract. What did he offer them? The Vet minimum and free Dolphins tickets for thir families?

e Dolphins tickets for thir
I just hope we win only two games both against the jets......And everybody else in the league wins at least 3.

Yeah I knew people like that too.....I think they're all deceased by now. Interestingly I never met anyone would articulate un-doing a curse!

Considering the way the Jets have been playing the last 2 games, they're going to make it hard for us to lose. You might get your wish...but I don't really care anymore, as long as we get a good player in the draft.

Wow...looks like we're screwed then.
The Boston Red Sox had the Curse of the Bambino...hadn't won a world series since they traded Babe Ruth.
During the year that they finally broke the curse, A kid in the stands took a Manny Ramirez line drive foul to the mouth. Shattered his teeth, he needed major dental work. But the kid was very, very happy when interviewed by the local new, because he was convinced that he broke the Curse. Why? Well, because he happened to live in Babe Ruth's former house, west of Boston. Sure enough, Sox log the best comeback in MLB pennant history by coming back from 0-3 against the yankees in the ALCS, then go on to sweep the Series.
So what is our curse? I think it goes back to either Marino or Jake Scott....both interestingly involve the #13. Jake Scott, the original #13 was involved in a bitter dispute during the mid-70s, ended up being traded to the Skins and severed all contact with the entire Dolphins organization. Didn't come to any reunions, nothing. Until just recently he reunited with Shula. but that didn't break the curse.
It has to be Marino, the way he was forced out of the organization..or maybe Don Shula. So, does anyone know who lives in those two guys' former houses? they need to get hit in the mouth with a football to break the curse!

You know how it is against the jets every single time....Even if they stinking against everybody else, the manage to play at a high level against us. So it wont be easy.........
I would like to win against them, but this year when every single phin player is playing like crap? I doubt it.
I am not sure but...I think it involves the Vulcan mind probe, Joe Auer, about 6 feet of dental floss and the third step from the top at the profoot ball hall of fame.

And the Santero, and the statue of Saint Lazarus on crutches
Not a curse. As I have written before here, it's a grave case of Murphy's Law Syndrome. Certainly you fellows know what that is. It has hit criminally the organization for an obscene amount of time. Many mistakes one after the other by the people in charge. I personally don't like this Ross fellow owner. If he wanted an entertainment production company, should have never come here. I sincerely hope a professional with sports club administration experience, come here and have the guts to totally overtake this cabaret entrepreneur with no clue of what Football is. Yes no floating Cubans, no ectomorphic hispanic singer, no big but from the Bronx, no bad bands and no Tennis players.

Please! That means the nightmare is almost over!
And to be honest, I kind of think we deserve the Marino curse after what JJ and Wanny did to Dan. That was just shameful.

A distinct possibility!
And the whole Saban/Mike Shula thing didn't help out either, did it?
