this guy sucks and is a mircocosm of everything wrong with this regiem. EVERYONE can see he can't play, even the chargers radio braodcasters (who have no dog in the fight) were making fun of him and saying he needs to retire. Yet he reamins the starting right tackle despite giving up multiple sacks per game. Tony/Ireland won't do anything about it b/c they can't admit they were wrong and can't see past the cowboys connection. I am sure they will make a change after the bye, but that's 4 weeks too late (hell he sucked in preseason and all last season too) and just shows how incompetent the decisionmakers are
C'mon guys, he can't be that bad. After all:
He's an ex-Cowboy!
The offensive line "guru" we have as head coach picked him up and
made him our starting RT!
He wouldn't have done that unless this guy was really good, would he?
wow! there is no dissention on this point. We all agree.
I don't know who wanted Columbo? Was it Ireland throwing a drowing man an anchor? Was it Tony thinking he could revive Columbo's carreer? Whoever said "sign him" needs to be fired. And If Tony Sparano is free to bench him and isn't? he needs to be fired too.
Vernon Carey was inconsistent at RT. Sometimes he was good sometimes he was bad.
Yes but he plays a mean guitar. It does not matter because Ross will not spend money to get better players so bringing in a new coach with crappy players means 3 years later were doing this exact same crap again. Ross is using the dolphins as a tax write off I believe the more they suck the more he can write off on his taxes. If he cared about this team why are Sparano, and Ireland still around?
