Huh? I am not comparing luck to aaron rogers. I am comparing luck to all other QBs in the past 10+ years at the time they entered the draft, or rather, how he is viewed entering the nfl vs how all those other QBs were. And Luck is viewed as a once-in-a-generation prospect. Aaron Rogers certainly was not. That's all I am saying. It's not even a controversial point.

And to add to your point, they are often playing against inferior defenses in the college rank also making them look even better than they actually are.

You definitely have a valid point there ghot.
I've felt for quite a while (years in fact) that this office seriously has a lack of talent to evaluate prospective QB's entering the draft. Drafting Pat White solidified my suspicions.
Ryan Mallett was projected as being franchise material. I would have been satisfied with him - he has all the proper mechanics. No surprise that the Pats thought that too and ended up drafting him.
Ross has more than just the team as a problem. Just about his entire staff needs to be sh!tcanned. I am totally convinced that this organization is epic fail at QB talent judgement among it's many other deficiencies.
