I wanted to hold out hope that Sparano would be the man to get the job done. Instead, what I'm seeing from him is the same deer in the headlights, denial of the obvious that I saw in the last days of... almost hate to say it... Wannstedt. He says that he doesn't have any answers. The players are saying that practices have been "sloppy." Taylor says that the team has lost confidence. Sparano even says that he has better attention from the team when he's on the road. If I'm Ross, I'm starting to put together my short list. This is an unholy mess.
