Its a 4:00 game..... There has to be a get around for this blackout in town, who knows it?.....
I gott ideas, whatabout like on the sportfish or yacht boats or even day time casino boats... How about the Hard Rock, the Indians dont have some get around for Blackout football game, they get around taxes, and gambling, you cant tell me they dont have a get around for Blackouts....
How about if I get a Gainesville Dish card, and vonage phone with a 352 area code? Come on guys, we got some smart minds around, I guess the internet will have the option like the Dallas game from some sling box?
I just need to figure what level to prepare if they announce blackout at 4 or 5 today..... I think the local station would buy up ten thousand tickets at most but no more

I thought Mr. Ross's idea was that if the games were at times when it wasn't so hot more fans would come. Here's an idea for you Mr. Ross, how about putting a product on the field that can compete for championships, then maybe the fans will be willing to shell out the money to attend.

I think Ross should offer the tickets for sale for 5 dollar a piece, for any person under 18 in school. For each kid you get a 5 dollar parent ticket. Or one parent could take a bunch of kids... Come on Ross! Mike Dee, Dolphins, you want the community involved, win win for everybody including probably great vibes for the game and team..

Sounds good to me. Sell the crappy seats for cheap. Fill up the stadium and give us a REAL home-field advantage. If he does that enough, eventually people will get used to coming to games and he can (slowly) raise prices again.

Still, $5 is more than $0!!

From Ben Voilin
Word on the street is that CBS 4 stepped up and bought 10,000 tickets this afternoon to gurantee their broadcast rights....
I sure hope it is true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah....they bought up the tickets that most people can't afford these days and gave them to the people that can afford it. Season ticket holders. I understand the loyalty to dedicated fans but throw a bone to some people that would normally not get a chance to experience a live game....boys club...orphanage...make a wish.

Oh yeah....they don't buy beer.... for 8 bucks a pop no less. Lol

The season ticket holders will pass these tickets down to people who cant afford to go...But they will at least reap the positive reward of giving someone a ticket... Some guy with club seats isnt going to bring a friend to the game and put him in the 400 level seats IMO... Relax, it is giving season ticket holders and extra value rather then dropping the bottom out of the prices or guy who just bought a ticket... it is not a bad idea, business savy IMO

remember we still have some blackouts on the horizon- so I am sure they will have time to do a larger united way, or boys n girls club, public schools event. Besides the fact that they already give tickets to both these charities for every game... Also CBS 4 and others will do some type of give away for the tickets or cheap tickets through Publix and sell them advertising the tixs will trickle down

I think buying up the tickets was a good move. People in South Florida need to see a win at home. "Out of sight, out of mind" on Sunday is not a money maker nor does it build fan support.

There should be a "Fan Support Sunday" where a slew of tickets are sold for half price. That would get my attention. thumbs up

Let's all gear up for a Dolphin victory. "Go Fins!" smileys with beer

`

Lets not Kid ourselves, They bought the Tickets so they don't lose advertising $$$$. No Charity here. Its a buisness. But i'm not complaining!! If the Phins win it will go a long way and buy some time for the rest of the games to sell out. They lose........its gonna be a bumpy ride. Ross will probably be in the Red this season. I'm just glad I get to relax a bit at home and watch the game . I loved going to the Monday nighter.....but it gets a bit exhusting. I couldn't do it every week, not even for free. Really looking forward to this. smileys with beer

Yes give gametickets to season ticket holders free it doesnt matter.....

I mean they werent going to be sold anyways....

And

1. Season ticket holders give tickets to someone else.

2. That someone else go to the game pay parking

3. That someone else buys food and drink OH and beer for sure....Dont forget beer.

4. that someone else buys a jersey here a hat there at the phins store.

get the point...

______________________________________________________________________

They dont give tickets to noone and none of this happens.

Maybe this becomes a trend...Because they should had done this a long time ago.

PLUS++++++++++++ This helps TV ratings and the people who live paycheck to paycheck who cant afford to go to the games.

_______________________________________________________________________

It helps the economy...

I mean

I just invited 5 of my best friends....NO WIFES AND NO KIDS PLEASE....And we are going to barbecue drink beer and watch it in HD on my big screen...

SO..

1. I went or going to the store and bought 5....12 packs corona EXTRA.

2. Bought 10 Pack of chips. And DIP.

3. Bought a whole lot of ribs hot dogs and steak.

4. Bought the gas for the grill i have no gas...already. Gotta remember that sunday...

BTW we all chip in for everything....

Isnt this a revolving door....

Arent we helping the economy making WINN DIXIE OR PUBLIX some bussiness too.

And thousands and thousands of people do the same thing.

Whole point is all this that happened with the game been sold out is everybody wins and it helps the economy.

Like i said i hope this becomes a habit or a trend for them because i have a feeling if the phins dont start winning there are going to be many more blackouts this year.

GO PHINS.
