Making little comparisons happens when you move to another job. It's not all that disparaging...just a personality difference between coaching staffs. He seems happy with his new environment.
Great fan support happens in Baltimore because people don't hop on a plan and visit there in any great numbers--not like South Florida. Moreover, we have thousands upon thousands of NY transplants who still adore their NY teams because its hard thing to severe that NY sports connection.
Still wish they would have signed him for another year . he's not expensive and he would have put it in on the 1 Yd line , or at least gave us a good shot at it. And he's generally healthy. Sprano screwed up and he's not shy about saying so.
Incidentally, during that partial season he played in the CFL I remember reading him say how great Toronto was, how great their fans were, and that he was considering moving there too.
Nothing wrong with liking the environment where you currently work, that's for sure.

You didn't miss him when we were on the 1 Yd line and we threw the ball TWICE and missed? Its not a good thing when Your QB is leading the team in rushing bro.......
I went and saw the phins play in Baltimore last year. Baltimore has one of the most boring, sterile, nerdy environments I've ever been in. Its in a city where every building looks the same, no parking near the stadium. There is one score board, but no down and distance on the score board. No running stats. Its like the government made a football stadium. If you go to take a leak and come back, you have no idea what is going on in the game.
hey chambers, I was at that game too. the stadium is OK, but I sat in the club section which is as good as it's gonna get there. getting in and out of the stadium was the worst---lines to get thru the turnstile was totally disorganized and took forever.
I'm going to see the dolphins play the browns game #3 in CLE. anyone ever been to that stadium before?
Ricky felt disrespected that they didnt sign him to an extension before the season year ended, so when it ended he went off on Sparano...
That sealed Ricky's fate IMO... Ultimately I think what Ricky said helped Sparano tremendously wit his coaching and the team but I also think it in that short term created this Ross looking Harbuagh... Ricky tried to seal the coaches fate at the end of the season, instead it backfired on him, and sealed his own fate in the town. How it helped the team is many of the things Ricky chastised Sparano about on live radio, Sparano has actually took to heart and changed about him and his philosophy. So it is a weird story, Morale of the story, Ricky just should have dealt with it in house in a team meeting rather then on live radio and he would still be a dolphins and he would be happy with the changes he helped put in place....

Chyren, first off you think it is cool for me as fan and supporter of my team and organization to say they are nothing but clowns or be cool with someone saying that about my team, I think you are a bit mistaken, no?... Secondly if I was dissappointed and had intellect which I know you have, calling them some simple minded name like clowns, is in anyway meaningful forget about productiive... Come on now....
We have some good players, we have shown flashes in all parts of this team how to get it done, we just need to put it together... And finally the only people that looked inadequate on Monday night were mainly players failing to execute on defense, so I am not sure how they escape all blame or criticism from you in your comment?

Well......There was this Chick that served me a Pepsi and a Hot dog at the stadium. She was pretty nice. And I'm pretty sure I dug this old guy that showed me where my seats were. After that it is pretty downhill , your right.

Seeing as we didn't have either one of those for a very long time , and it would co$t us in the neighborhood of $20 million IF they were available (which they were not)I think Signing Ricky to a two year contract and ltting him end his career here was the way to go. he's always healthy , in shape and a good leader. But thats just me.............
there were good guards available in FA last year. Some with pro bowl quality so they were available when ricky was available. ricky is not a fix all, why wasn't our running game good last year when we had ricky? it is way more about the oline and that is the point eesti was trying to make

All I know is that we had the confidence to run the ball on the goal line last year. And every other year Ricky was here.

You kidding? They are the WORST. I grew up with them. Remember that Jet fan killed on a sled Last Playoff season? He lived on my Block. No shit. God I hate'm all.......
Ricky's happy and that's ok w/ me. All i have ever said about Ricky is when he put the pads on he gave 110% If he gets a ring w/ the Ravens I will be happy for him. Maybe he can tell Ozzie Newsome how much better MIA (the city) is over Bmore and Ozzie can take the MIA GM job. Ozzie is one of the best in the league.
