Polite is a beast! It's great to finally have a FB that can run the ball for a change. Seems we've had so many blocking backs and receivers, and we've ignored the main purpose for a big FB.

Dude, how many QBs currently playing in the NFL have won Superbowls? Heck, Marino didn't win one either. Does that mean he wasn't capable of doing it? I takes more than ONE man to make it to and win a Superbowl!

I wouldn't make any major changes NOW. If we start having trouble during the game, I suppose we could experiment, but Satele should start at Center.

Last year I was hoping we'd cut him. Now I hope he's OK and ready to play on Sunday. What a difference a year makes!!

You sure that was Thiesmann and not some imposter? I mean "most balanced team in the AFC"?? WOW. I think Pitt and Tennessee would have issues with that comment. Heck, even San Diego is pretty balanced now.
Anyway, I hope Joe is right!

Michael Vick did a lot of charity work for the city of Atlanta, but I'm not ready to anoint him a saint. Pretty much ALL NFL players do charity work here-and-there. It comes with the job. As a professional athlete, you'r

It's all about finding a way to win rather than finding a way to lose. The Pats have gone into every game the past few years EXPECTING to win. We've gone into most games since Wanny's last year to the end of last season EXPECTING we'd lose (i.e. we'd find SOME way to blow it). It's all about confidence. When you see your hard work pay off, it makes confidence contagious.

Agreed. Every announcer I've heard on the radio or seen on TV is picking the Ravens next week. It's going to feel so great to make all of them eat crow.

Dolphins, because we're at home, are familiar with Baltimore, and it's tough to beat a team twice in the same season.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
We also need to avoid the mistakes and penalties we made in NY (dropped passes, false starts, off-sides, etc..). We CANNOT give Baltimore any gifts.
