He's thrown a lot of balls away, which makes his completion % bad...but I put that on the offensive schemes. If Rivers had more options he'd complete more passes. As for TDs, SD's running game

Problem is, that applies to the individual team MVP. As for league MVP, perhaps it means who makes the most money for the league. Hence...Manning. Sad, but true...

It seems SD is doing whatever they can to lose the game. If they lose, it won't be Rivers

Chambers has made 2 great catches to keep drives alive so far. If not for a boneheaded missed coverage, SD would still have the lead!

Chargers: 1. Knock out the MVP winner that beat out Pennington 2. If we meet in the playoffs, I'm more afraid of Indy than San Diego 3. I still root for Chambers on occasion Of course, I have one reason for wanting SD to lose...Norv Turner.

Well, it seems nearly all the commentators and writers picked Atlanta to beat Arizona...and they missed on that one. The same writers have nearly all also picked Baltimore to beat Miami. In fact, it seems nearly everyone is picking road teams this weekend. They've ignored 2 factors: 1. Rookie QBs 2. Playing on the road It's NOT that easy. I'm happy Arizona won, and I'm confident Miam

I agree. Atlanta has a bright future, but I really want to see the rookie lose his first playoff game...just like Flacco.

I get what you're saying about Wayne's CEO mentality, but I think he managed the Marlins MUCH worse than he's managed Miami. Of course, he DID get one World Series win out of it, but he basically bought that championship...and tried to get his money back after the win (by letting everyone go).

28-17 Utah, and 'Bama just missed a FG!! How sweet will it be if Saban loses the bowl game! Combine that with a win for the Dolphins on Sunday, and that will make my new year!

I'm with you. ILB is our biggest need. If we can get a WR in the 2nd that has 1st round talent, then take him. If not, go Defense. We already have Ginn, Bess, and Camarillo, and can probably get a decent FA WR (after we let Wilford go). So, unless we get someone of Ginn's caliber in the 2nd round, then skip the WR.
