Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think I've ever seen a former GM quoted as saying Philbin and Ireland don't know what they are doing.

Soft and undisciplined. Dysfunctional coaching and GM. Unprepared on game day. Unable to make adjustments at halftime. Bad play calling. Mediocre quarterbacking. A finesse team that can't finesse it's way out of a closet. Lack of leadership. No heart. This has been the legacy of the Miami Dolphins for decades now. Yet I cannot cut bait on this team. I am too emotionally invested. Many oth

What I am afraid of is the pre-game, halftime and post-game commentary/interviews/footage on MNF ESPN that is going to be NONSTOP "look at what a dysfunctional team the Dolphins are". It's going to be an onslaught.

I know I'm not alone when I say that if this whole imbroglio gets Philbin and Ireland fired, I will be one happy camper. Philbin is an awful head coach. Bring on the next coaching search.

All I know is that in the off-season Mike Sherman said: "This young man will be the most improved quarterback in the National Football League from year one to year two this year — I promise you that."

I think it's time to talk about the elephant in the room, and that's Ryan. Now last year when he "hit the wall" they blamed it on "growing pains." This year they are blaming it on the O-line. It would be nice to have civilized discussion of this situation, b/c if Ryan is not our franchise QB, we are even more effed than we think. We can blame the O-line for Ryan rgressing this

Yeah, I did see that, the big throws were few and far between.

Can someone explain to me why the Dolphins did not game plan to take advantage of one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL? They should have Tannehill throwing down field, if we are not gonna make the playoffs, lets see what the kid can do!!!!! Then again, it seems like the RT has really gone down hill in the last few weeks. I guess it's because teams know how to game plan against him now, an

I remember when Marino was QB the pundits said we weren't successful b/c we had no defense. Then when we had Fiedler it was because we didn't have a RB. Then when we had all the other loser QBs it was because they didn't have a receiving corps. Now Tannehill can't perform because he doesn't "enough talent" around him. Seems like we are always making excuses for these players, and quite

This is a very strange Dolphins season. Over the decades I have been a fan, this team usually starts hot and ends cold (most seasons are like this) or starts cold and ends hot but then they choke (fewer seasons are like this). This season they started lukewarm, then got hot, then they started to get a lot of press and hype, and almost as soon as the articles started about what was expected to

Explain to me how many interceptions Brady or Montana threw in OT to lose a game.

I ask honestly, because I seriously don't know how to differentiate what I saw today from what I have seen in previous bad seasons, that ended up with a head coach gone, etc. What exactly are the characteristics of a rebuilding year? Aren't the Bucs in a rebuilding year? And the Jaguars? Both of them look 10 times better than Miami!!!!

Curt might as well lock this forum up and tear down this site, because after this utter and complete offseason implosion, there is nothing that can be said to restore any confidence in this team and its ownership/coaching/prospects. Write it down: March 19, 2012. This was day that Stephen Ross killed any hope of rebuilding the Miami Dolphins organization in the foreseeable future. This is

All of a sudden everyone who claims to be a Dolfan wants the Dolphins to lose? Go 0-16? Over my dead body! If you are a real fan, you want your team to win, no matter what. I am sorry if you are late to the "the Dolphins need a franchise QB" bandwagon. I have been saying for years on this board, in occasional posts (I don't come here too often b/c I have to watch my blood pressure),

If you are a Dolfan there is NEVER ANY WAY you could possibly justify rooting for the Jets. Moreover, for a Dolfan, this game is a WET DREAM. Now Sanchise is hurt, the poor little baby bear. GO STEELERS RUN UP THE SCORE ON Rex "I GUARANTEE A JETS WIN" Ryan.

the Dolphins passed on Aaron Rodgers in 05? even if Ronnie would have turned out to be the second coming of Ernie Davis, why did we pass on currently the best qb in the NFL?

Let's be sincere. Oakland is terrible. Not too difficult to play a "complete game" against a really bad team. I would like to see us play a "complete game" on Dec. 12 and Jan. 2.

Every week it's the same tired old lines: "It's not Henne's fault." "For you to blame this one on Henne is idiotic, stupid, ridiculous, etc." "We lost because of $##@@@$$%&^(^ not because of Henne." The truth of the matter is that nothing that Henne does is ever game-changing, according to most people on this board. I guess you all think the QB positi
