I thought he clearly had a touchdown. I know the announcers were saying not, but when they stepped frame by frame he had his feet down and the ball was in. He also had the ball in both hands securely. They made it sound like he needed to tuck the ball in, which he did as he was coming out of the endzone, but the rule is just secure, not tucked in.

You can't tell me we couldn't pull a guard for a run. They do it for the wildcat, but that's it. Regular rushing they run straight toward the hole without any movement. We did it last year with worse guards and other teams that are even worse still do it against us. We didn't use our starting guard even before he was injured.

I don't blame our running backs, or our line, I blame the Offensive coordinator. Last year we had an awful team, but we could set up lanes and get 100 yards a game easily. This line is way better than last years, we should be able to roll over teams like San Fran with the run. This year all we get is 'sustain the block longer,' well what about pulling a guard once in a while and setting up

I don't want to get too excited about this season and jinx the phins.

I think the Jets went into a bit of a tailspin. You could tell from the first play when SF tried the onside that they were going to play loose and free, and with intensity, and you could tell by the Jets punting 4 plays later that they were just playing not to lose. SF is the only team to win coming east, and going west is almost as bad. I'm glad we get the home field this weekend. I think the

Atlanta's coach should be in the running too.

I've never been more glad to be wrong, except when I said we didn't stand a chance against New England in that first game this season.

I think Ginn is going to be great, but he did get alligator arms. It would have been a tough catch, and tougher to hold onto, but he pulled back a little. I've never seen anyone that never pulled up a time or two, He'll get past it.

I was really impressed with how much Miami substituted players on both sides of the ball. That's really got to keep their legs fresh and shows that we're building depth.

We did throw, but way back in the first two weeks only. I think we could have some success throwing out of it. I still like the formation. We didn't get big yardage, but it didn't cost us, and we got good yardage out of it.

The only part of that I disagree with is about the special teams. I felt they played awful. It's too easy to say that they did better because of the numbers, they've got to do it the right way so that someone can't break one tackle and score. Our special teams was spread too thin around the receiver. Carpenter got a solo tackle, that just shouldn't happen.

This week is the most important game of the year. With a loss here it doesn't matter if we win the last game for the division, and it shuts us out of Wild Card except through wildly improbably events. With the importance of the game I'd think the Dolphins would be pumping things up. Instead it feels like they're looking past this week. There's almost no hype at all, and what little I see

I haven't heard a thing, but feel like you do. We should have a stronger line than this year, and we'll probably add some depth.

It's not clear whether he'll have ongoing ankle problems even without shooting himself in the leg. Parcells went a long way toward instilling a hard work ethic in the phins. I can't see bringing in someone known for slacking.

Ginn is a great returner, one week doesn't equal bad. Two weeks ago he returned one for a TD that got called back by a useless foul. He's always a threat, even with a bad ST unit around him.

The other thing is their best O-lineman was out and back for this game. The Phins came out flat as a pancake. I think they only did what they needed to win and no more, which is bad, but they did get the win. Hopefully they'll be up for next week vs the Bills.
