Smith will be on Tory Holt correct? He had a tough time with Aiken last week. Holt is way the hell slower than Aiken. I doubt Smith will have very many balls thrown his way

I was cussing him after he missed Polite wide open on our last drive vs. the patsies. Then, the next throw he lasered into Camarillo to convert the 4th down. Henne has a cannon but needs a little more touch on some of his throws

I know I'm stating the obvious I looked over their season stats, they only have 12 sacks this year. Will it be Henne time again this week?

I follow Virginia Tech closely, and we switch our corners based on the short and long side of the field. The boundary corner plays the wide side, the field corner plays short side.

Wasn't Vontae on the short side of the field on the pass to T.O.? Do we always keep our corners on the short / long side of the field, or do they interchange? Noticed the Bills tried to go long to T.O. on their last drive of the night. Fitzpatrick audibled it similarly to how he did it against us, Revis picked it off. To me that ball was a bit underthrown

Out of our 6 sacks? How many were in the 4th quarter?

1) If Vontae Davis picks the tipped ball that T.O. ended up catching. He is gone for a pick 6. 2) T.O. had a major push off on Vontae on the dagger bomb in the 4th. I know its loser talk, but I just rewatched the game at lunch today and came away with these observations. BEAT THE PATS!

What about Al Groh? He is from the Parcell's tree and was just fired from Virginia.

Lets make it two losses in a row for the Pats. The Saints just seem to make good receivers / RB's. Payton is a heck of a coach. Colston (late round pick up), Meachum (never heard of him before a month ago), Devery Henderson (used to be just a deep threat, but has added some nice route running to his game). Comparing them to our receivers, there is one difference that sticks out: They are w

Pasqualoni is a loser. I'd get rid of him. He never did anything in college when he had McNabb. We need a big play WR. The best I've seen in college this year are Demaryius Thomas (GT) and Ginyard (CINN)

The ground was a little wet. He planted too hard on his foot for the wet weather. I doubt he'll make the same mistake again

Can Lex Hilliard run the wildcat with Ricky? I'm thinking maybe not this week but next week against Jacksonville

For all the WR bashing that goes on here, we've got to give some credit for Bess last game. The catch he made on the last drive where he beat double coverage was sweet. Easily Bess' best game of the year

One thing I forgot about with respect to the game vs. the Bucs was that Carpenter competed with Barth for the kicking job in preseason. Barth brought his 'A' game, but we won in the end.

Two things: 1) It looked like Brady talked him into it 2) Odalius Thomas was inactive for a game earlier in the year for no good reason ala Joey Porter. I've been watching the pats the last few weeks and Thomas has been playing pretty well. Maybe our inactivation of JP will light a fire under his ass

I think I get it: The whole continuation thing was in effect to see if the player could control the ball through the catch, we stripped the ball and it went up in the air and JT picked it. However, it was ruled an incomplete pass on the field and we got the ball where JT picked it off because it was ruled incomplete

561. JT's pick
Never understood the ruling. Clayton catches the ball, goes down on the ground, gets stripped and it flies into JT's hands. How come it wasn't a pick 6?

I'm glad the Pats lost. We gained a game and are that much closer to winning the division. We gotta take care of business Thursday night though. Get Delhomme back into throwing picks mode. I don't think he's thrown one in the last 3 games, after throwing 13 before that.

"Those rushing yards are mostly due to the wildcat. We're weak in our base offense. We don't have a passing game. We tend to settle for FG's too much. Nothing looks efficient about our offense, it's as you said, sqeezing out yardage. At halftime our opponants adjust, and that's why we lose. The defense, as imperfect as they are, often make great plays and hand the ball back to our offense, h

I'd like to see us play Ginn early and somehow get him matched up on Ronde Barber for a deep pass. Ronde is old and slow, but he is a smart player. Bucs are 28th in pass D

Georgia Tech also runs the single wing and they are top 10 BCS. Henne is too good though not to develop. The option would only work for so long in the NFL.
