I believe most of the reason for giving the SB to NJ is the New Meadowlands stadium. Not too surprising that the commissioner is awarding the franchise(s) who build the new arenas. It *would* be surprising if NJ got in regular rotation.

Looks like he'll have a little bit of time to decide which number he wants to wear. According to curt's newswire, Marshall is having a procedure done...I hope it's just a cleanup 'scope or something like that, but early reports do not specify. Let me guess: Cleveland's FO is automatically, 100% at fault here, right? I actually would take him back under the right terms, which would be low guarantee, heavy on incentives. But I'll bet another team which is much more desperate will take him.
