They are stacking the line of scrimmage. We need some pass offense or this game is going to be ugly.

I've never really cared for him as a color man. But he "has to laugh" when the Jets get a sack? Yeah, okay, Phil. That was hilarious.

The block in the back was pretty blatant, I don't see how that wasn't called. The guy NYJ blocker even put his hands up and looked around for the flag afterwards.

I've watched Joey Porter absolutely dog it in pursuit of running plays twice in a row.

The Dolphisn won't get any calls today. They're playing in NY. We'll need to beat them worse than the score (again) to win.

Hartline's starting, let's hope he steps it up. He's big and fast, right? Maybe he'll surprise us.

I hope Ginn torches them. I hope he starts holding on to the ball. I hope the Dolphins win. But I'm voting for 2 drops and 0 TDs because, well, I'm not delusional.

If the Dolphins beat the Patriots and Jets, they will be in great shape with a 4-0 division record. Both games are winnable. At 4-4 with a 4-0 division record, the 'phins can be right back in this thing. Let's not jump off any bridges because of today's game.

As I said in another thread, the suspect thing I saw from the refs in that game was the penalty at the end of the game. The line on the game was like Saints -7 or so, and then there was that phantom penalty at the end to run out the clock when the Dolphins had the ball inside the Saints' 10?? Heh.

The one thing I will say about the refs: That game-ending penalty with one second left? Yeah, they were making sure the Saints covered the spread.

I don't think 10-6 gets us into the playoffs, but I agree that it is way too early to panic about the Dolphins' season. I penciled this one in as a loss and I fully expected us to go into the next two weeks at 2-4. The upshot is that we've got two division games coming up...

Umm, hate to break it to you, but we aren't a playoff team this year. We're 2-4 and we've been inconsistent at best. joemama Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'm tired of people citing how good the Saints > are. > > We were ahead 24-3 with 2 minutes left in the > half. He's going to be our #1 WR for the rest of the year. Hopefully he will be replaced in the offseason with someone who can catch.

The Saints are the best team in the NFL and if not for some awful dropped balls by our WRs, I think we would have easily won the game. I'm not too bummed out.

We deserved to lose. Can't tackle, can't hold on to the ball.

I was expecting Miami to lose this one. I just wasn't expecting it to be a heartbreaker.

I was optimistic after seeing JT in the preseason that he still had it. He still has it. Huge play.

Bess has had a bad game but I thought that fumble call was atrocious. He was down. Aqua&Orange Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > He should have had that catch. We need to keep this up and keep scoring touchdowns. Even down, the Saints aren't out with that offense.

Yeah, that was a huge play by Vontae on the kickoff return. They showed the replay after the commercial break and he made a hell of an effort to get off his block and turn back upfield. Also RICKY WILLIAMS!! Touchdown.

Drew Brees is going to carve us up like a Thanksgiving turkey. That said, I think we can still recover and make a run from 2-4, so I'm not too concerned about this one.

I honestly wasn't impressed with Sanchez in the Dolphins game, either. He made 3-4 good throws, but he missed a lot of good opportunities when our CBs were getting abused. For all the love he was getting from the ESPN crew, it was clear that he was flat out missing open guys for a real big stretch between the opening drive and the 4th quarter. I'm not saying the guy is going to be a bust, bu

Sanchez has only played 6 games, but he is definitely overrated. After three games, he was being compared favorably to Joe Namath. Joe Namath! He is a rookie who is playing bad ball. If he played in another market and he wasn't like the only hispanic QB in the league, he'd be getting slagged on.

New rule in the NFL this year. If you win the toss, you can choose to receive the kickoff in the 3rd quarter. It used to be that if you chose to kick off, the other team would get the ball to start the 1st and 3rd quarters.

Okay, biased was maybe a poor choice of words, since they weren't really ragging on Miami. But they were basically talking about Sanchez and Edwards all night. And Jaworski really does hate the Wildcat for some reason.

Yes, the announcing was extremely biased in favor of the Jets before and during the broadcast. Was it really surprising, though?

Jaworski really hates the Wildcat offense and Gruden loves it. That's not really a Dolphins/Jets thing. That's something they've been going back and forth with all season.
