IMHO we only had one competent qb since Marino and that was Pennington, Henne looks it but the jury is still out. The rest sucked starting w/ Feidler. As I said before Griese was ok.

I thought Huard & Griese both had what it took to be starters for us but the coaches & front office did not really back either of them.

wtf - for those fans who think these guys 'run their mouths so much' why don't you take a drive to training camp and step up man to man to there faces and tell'em. Stop the pu**y footing postings and man up and tell'em face to face. go tell Sean & Randy

Whatever, Sean gets to back his talk up against the Jets twice this year. I really don't have a problem with his comments.

terrible loss for his and the Phin family solid person and player. Jarvis and big Lou were a great pair of safety for us.

I respect all opinions but I always felt that when I watched Offerdahl I was watching a hall of famer. It was like watching Lambert, true they played in different defenses. I will admit that I thought a lot of Thomas' success came from Bowens protecting him but his level of play did not decline even after Bowens retired.

FinShady I have been a Phin fan for over 40 years and yes I believe Ray Lewis is a far greater MLB than Zach and an even greater team leader. I think some phin fans have a hard time taking their feelings out of the variable when measuring Zach. When you talk about all time greats or the 3 top 3 ever at their postions you are guaranteed to hear Larry Little when talking about guards, Marino, Steph

Zach is not close to being the player Ray Lewis and he is even further from being the team leader that Lewis is. Love the phins and I live in the Bmore area Ray Lewis deserves every single accolade he gets. He is neither a thug or self promoter. He is the leader of the Ravens. Many a times I wish Taylor or Thomas would step up and lead like Ray Lewis. Hate when folks knock what they don't have

that's funny Matt Roth demanding a trade I'm surprised someone was listening long enough to record that and then report it must be a helleva slow news day.

I remember both Scott and Shula very well great coach, fantastic safety. They kissed and made up move along. Loved Shula but his time has passed I really do not like to see his name in print w/ such pettiness I am accustomed to stories about his greatness. This is not reality tv.

a good second back, I think he could even grind out 1k yards in a 16 game season. Rb coaches have had some time w/ him so I expect his running style shouldmimprove if not he can be replace in a year or two.

Why not give it to hime. I do not think the org plans to retire it. I liked Zac thomas as much as anyone else but I do not think he gave anything more to the org than guys like Clayton, Offerdahl or Nat Moore. If we at least played in a couple of afc championships w/ Zach and Taylor I might consider it but I do not think their results add up to retiring of Jersey's. The ring of honor yeah. Now

Marshall sould make the entire offense better. Gives Henne a home run threat on the long ball. Bess hartline et al will be more dangerous w/ Marshall requiring extra attention by the DB's. Ricky & Ronnie could see more screen plays all good stuff. Another good article was how most of the rookies coming in were team captains. The dolphins do need leadership on D. Living in the Bmore area I

yeah that's a standard interview question 'is your mom a hooker'. Ireland showed he has as much class as a swine. I see has manned up and apologized, good, time to move on.

I hope he is like Seymore. I just don't get that excited over Big 10 players. Seymore was a SEC guy.

Hey I like both Zach and JT but they never got this Phins to an AFC championship so I do not understand why the think the front office 'owes' them so much.

I'm not quite sold on Berry or Thomas. Thinking they can not stand the pounding that comes from attacking the ground game. Sanders and Steve Gregory of the Charges both are undersized hard hitting Safties w/ injury issues. Ronni Lott had the size to absorb those punishing hits, although I think Kenny Easley was the hardest hitting safety of that era.

I watched at least 6 Stanford games that Gerhart play, was he the best player on the field yes, definately one of the top 3 players in the Pac 10. Yet I still do not think he will repeat his college performancees in the NFL. The players he reminds me of as I said once Brian Leonard, Barry Redden just did not do it. Could be wrong of course

I am a syracuse fan and followed Williams his entire career. I always said the guy was not a college student he was there to play ball. I would grab him w/ a 3rd rounder, he does want to play football. A cheater yeah so what is he the first no. A quitter yeah, how many kids quit college. Whenever he stepped on the field he was ready .

WTF its the Redskin's that philosophy has been in their blood since the early '70s. In '72 they got to the super bowl w/ a bunch of old timers.

I would take Rodgers if offered I really believe he forgot the gun was in his bag. I once forgot that I had box cutters in my coat once at the airport. I was headed to security when I happend to put my hand in my pocket and felt them and was able to discard them. Would have really been up the creek if they were found. So sh** like this happens.

If and a big IF is that if the Redskins fix their Oline they will be in the hunt for 2nd place in the AFC East. They have some talented WR and a you TE that should have breakout years. They do need a veteran qb like McNabb to stabilize this team. Campbell gets a lot of blame but I actually like the kid. He was always confronted w/ learning a new offense for most of his career since he never had f

Dude the trade was for a #2 this year and a #3 or #4 in the 2011 draft. That is not bad for a qb like McNabb. We had idiots in our front office when we gave a #2 for AJ Feeley and drafter Beck in the second rnd.
