If Henne's kneee is just a dislocation, depending on the severity, it could be weeks up to six months. These types of knee injuries are the least threatening to long term play.

Cam Newton, unless we can pull something out of our ass to get Andrew Luck.

Welead doesn't have the time to educate some of the most ignorant Dolfans in all of cyberspace. I've been promoting the benching of Henne in order to get this team to the playoffs and some of you posters have tried to look the other way or spin it and blame other player and coaches on this great team. You thought you knew more than I did didn't you?

We should also thank Kerry Collins today for his version of Chad Henne with ten more years of experience.

Futt: were you happy with your man Henne's play today? I always enjoy how you spin the horrible Henne's play even when he clearly was outplayed by Thiggy.

Al Harris provided the spark on defense. Now we just need to unload or upgrade that stiff Crowder. I saw him getting pushed around all day and he also picks the wrong holes... We also should be thankful to Kerry Collins, the Tennessee Titans's version of Chad Henne, with ten more years of mediocre experience.

We have to be happy winning against the Titans. If we would have lost we would have had to pack it in. I don't see any football expert questioning Dan Henning. I do see lots of talking heads wondering why Brandon Marshall, the highest paid receiver in all of football, has only 1 TD catch. Thigpen is the spark and he's proving two things; it isn't the play calling and Henne was the reason why we l

We have to get Henne off this team and now. Unless he's hurt then we wait until next year and trade him for a No. 8 if we can get it.

Henne stunk up the joint. Penny got us to the ten with one play and Henne choked again. Then Henne throw a childish throw to a wide open Marshall on the inside which results in yet another pic. He's thrown 6 pics versus 1 TD in the last three games. Your comments are just childish and dumb.

I've been saying this from the get go, it isn't he coaching. Dan Henning is a great OC, it's the execution not the play calling. For him to use the Wildcat to allow us time to regroup was brilliant in my book. Henning is not the problem.

A&O: why you haven't been banned up to this point is beyond me. I think we need to pick up a solid second and avoid falling into the trap of giving Henne the power to lose games and sink our team morale. I like Jeff Garcia or Kurt Warner.

His salary was upped from 2 Million to almost 5 Million for the start. So I think he just made 1 Million per play... nice work if you can get it.

Fasano was yelling at Henne.... Hartline looked upset with Henne ... Marshall was showing how upset he was with Henne.... people, the players themselves know more about the play of their fellow players than the fans. Look at the opposing team's comments. Look how they laid into Crowder for being a "stiff" and about how Henne was an "easy read."

If Henne would have stayed healthy in this game I think we would have lost. Thiggy provided a spark, as did the Wildcat. People were blaming the Wildcat for Henne's poor play and this proves that the blame is on Henne not the play calling.

Wildcat, Thigpen, anybody but that stiff of a QB we've been suffering from all season will work. I sat next to a guy from Michigan today and he even said Henne is a horrible QB... Thigpen is our starter.

Arm strength is the single most overrated aspect in evaluating a QB.

First of all nobody fires their OC in the middle of their season, it would result in Chaos. Plus I think Henning is a good OC, has been around a long, long time with lots of experience. There is nobody who could out coach him...

No more fooling around and no more wasting years and years on mediocre QB play like we did with Fiedler. That's why I'm so happy about the Henne benching... the organization has sent a big message that we will no longer tolerate mediocre QB play. If the Dolphins could manage to get Andrew Luck in next year's draft (almost impossible) we would be set at QB for years to come. He's the next Dan Mari

0-3 is all Penny's fault? Gee I recall recently all the Henne lovers claiming it's not his fault for losing it's a TEAM effort.

That makes sense. Sparano said earlier in the year he "doesn't care what the fans think" about Henne's poor performance. Getting Heene out of there doesn't happen overnight, they must have been thinking about his all season. Give Henne 8 games, give Penny 8 games, see what happens. This move seems like it has Parcells signature all over it, as he favors experienced older veterans over y

If it's the OC, then Henne will thrive somewhere else. Watch how many teams try to snatch up Henne, that will give you a idea how "great" Henne is. It isn't the OC because our problems are inside the twenty and that means it's execution.

BigFish is right. Unfortunately what you need to play in the NFL you cannot teach. Fans were complaining that pulling Henne would ruin his confidence. Really? Look at Cold McCoy, a rookie with a lot less talent around him who takes the reigns and doesn't look back. Look at Sam Bradford... having "It" show up early and it's obvious. Henne ain't IT.

Mia1 is right, Pennington is a leader... He's already saying "It's time to roll..." He's got the right attitude.

I'm with Mia1, Pennington took us to the playoffs with a team of lesser talent. The coaches must have seen something in practice with Henne. The word out of Miami is that Henne is "by the book." Marino once said something like.... show me a QB that can throw off his back foot twenty times." Basically what he's saying is what can the guy do when the play falls apart or does go exact

Marshall is all about running after the catch, nobody is surprised about that. Get him the damn ball! That's what Penny brings to this offense. If the front office thought Henne was an accurate long ball passer, they would have went after Moss.

I agree 561, I'm happy as hell! I'm tired of predicting all the mess ups Henne will do to my friends at the bar on Sunday. I can't wait for Sunday now, I'm laying down some serious money on Miami against Tennessee.

Why some fans are bemoaning something we never had in the first place, the long ball, is beyond me. Our problem was the short game, inside the twenty and Henne is useless due to lack of touch and lack of confidence.

We've got one of the best slot men in the business, Devon Bess. We've got two solid running backs. We no longer have to max protect and watch Henne for a full five seconds to stare down a receiver only to throw it into the ground. Our offense is all about the dinks and dunks, and Penny is the right fit. Maybe Henne could be a good back up somewhere but he doesn't fit in with what we're trying to
