I am 7 hours ahead, so my football clock is set wierd. It is 1pm here and I expect to be watching a football game now. It is doubly difficult because this is such a big game and the titans are playing so well. Is Young healthy? If he is and they had to prep for two QBs that would make things even harder. If the weather is bad who does that favor?

I really don't wish injury on anyone, but since he is already injured ()I hope he doesn't play or if he does play that he doesn't have the mobility. Young has been quite efficient and it is very difficult to defend CJ running, Vince Young running AND Vince Young throwing.

I have to hand it to Ginn. He has a few nice sideline catches. Still, I wish we could get a real #1 WR!

I am still taking it "one game at a time" but it certainly is nice to have two years running of having this conversation. It is starting to feel like the phins of old. Still, we are too inconsistent and I can't look ahead. I also think we are playing dangerous teams. CJ is inhuman. Andre Johnson is one of the best (and we have never beaten Houston). Is there a chance Polamalu will

Hopefully, we can come up and score points early and control the clock. It doesn't take CJ out of the passing game, but it does make them play catch up which may contain his running a bit.

One thing I will give Henning, and I actually "called" this before the game (I will be sending a resume to Parcells later this week ), was the Henne roll out TD. Henne is not a run threat clearly, but he had done well rolling out to the right passing the ball and it was only a matter of time before they were going to take advantage of that and have him stroll into the endzone.

Containing CJ means he only has a very good game sadly.

I still say it is too early to tell if he will be able to be in the same conversation. He definitely made a statement today though and it was an expletive. The fumbling and PR are the major differences as statistically he has done more than Welker did at this point in his career. Unfortunately that includes more fumbling. We shall see though.

I just rewatched that last play with Wake. His motor doesn't stop! Gerrard didn't see him coming. Love this kid. I also agree that he can be in instead of Porter on most plays.

I agree about the punting as well. I still think he can be in the Welker level, but he definitely isn't there yet. The fumbling is a huge issue. On the other hand, that play should not have been called.

What do you guys think about the CBS analysis - the Holt play was Wilson's fault.

Well, today is a step back for Bess. Still think he can be great, but he can't have games like this and be great. On the other hand as soon as they called the play I yelled at the screen because I knew they were putting him in a bad situation.

I think there are several categories of problems. There are unresolvable problems. There are problems you can resolve by fixing them. there are problems you can resolve by compensating for them. Is missing plays like the two Polite throws or the Fasano goal line throw a "problem"? In that Henne's game last week would have been even better if he hadn't missed those shots, yes.

Personally, I can't look ahead. I just can't anymore. I can't wait for us to get the few more pieces we need to be a truly dominant team. That's just me.

For one year I am participating in a fellowship program at Hebrew U in Jerusalem. It's pretty intense but also really awesome. It means that I am 7 hours ahead. I was up at friggin 3am watching the Carolina game!

Nat Moore was still very good and that helicoptor hit is a great highlight.

I did read that it is doing much better than earlier games and is closer to being a sellout than preceding games. While some Jax fans are probably hopeful that it means the 7-5 record wildcard spot is getting fans to the game, I hope it is phins fans heading their way. I live out of the country so I can't help.

I was also dissappointed with the Welker trade at the time. Shortly after the trade I spoke with a cousin of mine who is a big pats fan and I told him flat out that with Brady throwing to him he could expect big things from Welker. I reiterated the point after they got Moss. Happy with Bess. We won't trade him.

As I move back down to earth following the win I am personally going to take it one game at a time and not build up my expectations. We have too many question marks still. Obviously these next four games won't be easy. I am not saying anyone is saying they will make it, I am just expressing my personal feelings. (note I said personally about the one game at a time thing - a pet peeve of mi

I am glad we don't have that guy anymore but I hate him even more for having a good catch for the jags when he couldn't do it for us. I hope he isn't able to give them any tips against us.

I just rewatched henne's highlights from the game. I forgot how beautiful that throw Camarillo on that first TD drive was, right over the shoulder.

I do have one major worry about Bess. did you see his interview? The hawaii guy with a bob marley shirt? That really only means one thing...

"the other is a nice player who has a big game a year,...maybe 2 big games a year." I don't understand the reasoning. Are you making a statistical argument based on the fact that Bess hasn't had that many big games yet? Since Bess is only in his second year, You don't have enough years to back that up statistically. I am not saying he is Welker yet, but Welker was no better when he

Agreed with all the above. he had some beautiful throws too. That TD in the back of the endzone was nice.
