Haha, well, the Brown for Boldin comment was toung-n-cheek =). Of course Miami isn't going to get rid of him. And no, I'm not horribly impressed with the RB depth in this year's draft either. Besides, if you did it'd only hurt the passing game because nobody would respect the run. Not that Brown has amazing stats or anything, but his stats belie his importance.

If Reggie keeps returning kicks left to right I might take you up on that

Hell, just get Anquan *nods*. R. Brown for Anquan and just draft a studd RB this year to mix with Ricky.

The DB position feels to me a lot like the QB position in this draft. Meaning you have the top 2 or 3 with the next 10 not too far behind talent-wise. Very small margin separates the top couple from the rest of the pack. SO yeah, I'd wait. You could prolly wait till 3rd-5th round and pretty much get the same player you'd get in round 1-2 when it's all said and done. Parcells likes to draft with a

You switch them teams and you can prolly switch the statistics as well. But if the Phins open up the offense, and with your running game, I can see Ginn putting up D-Jack numbers with Pennington at the helm. Phins just have a total different offensive phillosophy.

Screw Harrison with Coles now available. Hell, I hope the Saints jump in on Coles before the Phins do. =) He's everything Harrison could provide (maybe not the same leadership), plus he still has game, isn't a senior citizen, etc. Harrison was only worth a mention due to the on-the-field coach for a young WR corps. But that isn't worth the money he wanted. If I was Harrison, I'd be looking for

Yup yup. Perfect match. Has chemistry with Pennington, and is a decent pos receiver. I'd take him too if the price is right. He's 31 right? Something like that. Which means he has at least 2-3 years he can give you. Although he has lost a bit since his old days with C.Pen.

Some good points Northeast Fin Fan. Especially number 3. JC Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I think he'd be a great fit with the Saints, as > long as he gets that nice big salary-cap-eating > raise he is seeking I was thinking the same thing. He'd fit best with a team that DOESN'T need him. At least not in the way of a #1 guy. But a mix of

So, Marvin Harrison is now a free agent. Any Phins fans interested? Yes, I know he's up there in age, but he is in great shape. Look at what Rice did after leaving the 49ers- 90 catches, something like 9 TDs, went to the playoffs. Harrison can still bring something to a team, and what he can provide, I think the Dolphins could use. He's no longer a burner, but you already have that in Ginn. He

Exactly what I was thinking about this year's QB crop. Feels like there are a ton of QBs all about the same talent-wise, with all needing some development for a couple years. Sanchez did great in college, but he was on a team with how many pro prospects? I dunno, lot of backups and eventual-starters coming out this year, but nobody who blows my mind. Then again, I almost thought the same thing

I was hoping the Saints would either take Curry (wishfull thinking), Cushing, Maualuga, or Laurinaitis in the first round. After watching Mathews at the combine I'm starting to change my mind. Healthy seems to be part of his bloodline, which is great =). Cushing though is a health nut from what I hear. So yeah, I'd be happy to take Mathews at 14 *nods* I can totally see Parcells taking one

Yeah, that's the problem with a lot of NFL teams when it comes to coacing personell. Too many times coaches step in an with their "new system" ruin a promising thing. Thigpen and KC were turning things around. Defense let them down a lot, and they had one of the youngest teams in the NFL. I really hope they keep a lot of the same things installed in their system next year. Would be toug

Not sure Nicks will be there at 44, but if he is...wow, steal steal steal. What about Hank Baskett for a tall posession guy? He's not amazing by any means, but he's a big fella with some talent and still a lot of upside. Also of a mold you don't have yet. ------------------- ...errr, wow, crazy thing happened while typing this. I'm at work and I just got a tip from Donte Stallworth. Shou

Well, the "best choice at WR" really depends on the team. Nicks is EXACTLY the type of receiver the Dolphins need. Personally, I think he is the best choice at WR for you guys. I know Crabtree is bigger and more hyped, but Nicks seems to play bigger than Crabtree does. But yeah, Phins have other needs, and there is no way Parcells drafts a WR in round one. Hopefully you'll find a big Co

A lot of flash and hybrid in

Okay, so I'm new here...when it comes to posting at least. Better mention it from the get go, but as you can most likely tell by my forum name, I'm not a Dolphins fan. Don't get me wrong, I find myself rooting for them most of the time (unless they play the Saints), but it's more the fact I'm a football fan in general, and the Dolphins are an interesting team this offseason. My best friend is a D
