It's a real shame. They prevent this team from being serious contenders.

RIP Curt. Although I don't hang around much anymore, there are some good people here. It's just that my passion for football isn't what it once was, Ross and Grier have played a big part in that. We've all been through a lot through so many years here on this forum. Great place to be a part of. I hope it keeps going.

The Pro Bowl has become a joke. There's more excitement watching a Pop Warner football game nowadays. I went to Pro Bowl games in the 80's and they played to win. Saw Marino and Montana going at it when the winners got 10k and the losers got 5k. lol

Might as well bench the starters. Not worth it getting injured for nothing. Denver is going to win but at least we don't have to see the Jills stomp on Miami in round 1.

Grier is the biggest problem for Miami. Not being able to keep talent like Gink is unacceptable. Should have kept Dan Campbell as the HC too. Sure he makes some boneheaded 4th down calls with Detroit but his team is motivated and look where they're at. Coulda, shoulda, woulda. Always the story with GM Grier.

Yet Tua gets a nice payday. Unbelievable. Should have done the 5th year option on him and canned him next year. He needs to retire before he dies on the damn field.

I don't blame the guy. We've all had high hopes for Miami only to see them swirl in a toilet year after year.

The usual Dolphins scenario, living on a prayer just to be a wild card.

Miami is a train wreck this season. Having talent at multiple positions that isn't on the field is useless. Parting ways with fragile players is a must. I totally agree that letting Gink go was so asinine. It's Chris Grier that needs to go, this team cannot get to the next level with his draft, trade, and personnel contract decisions. As a Miami fan I am at the point where I could care l

Huntley is more mobile, but he won't start just yet. I'm still in a daze at how crappy this team looked. I have zero expectations for this season.

Just 2 games in and the starting RB, QB, LT, and LG are already injured. And I don't know why Miami didn't take the 5th year option on Tua like the Ravens did with Lamar. Tua played like crap tonight before he even got hurt. Got paid too soon and laid an egg. Let's just hand Buffalo a win and everyone one else that follows on a silver platter. Jeezuz.

I didn't pay attention to any acquisitions made this offseason including the draft. In a way that's good for me being that I don't have any expectations for the team's success this season. I don't even know who any of the new players are except for OBJ. The only thing I know for sure is Stephen Ross is a Bozo and always will be.

Well guys I have no clue what's been going on in the off-season. I basically tuned out of football after the SB. Can someone fill me in on the FA's the team picked up? I see we went edge and LT in the draft so far. How do you guys think Miami is looking so far between the FA's and draft picks? After Miami let Wilkins and Gink walk I pretty much had to walk away for a bit. Thanks!

I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets finish with a better record than Miami next season. Seriously. I hope I'm wrong though. As it was said though, hopefully the new coordinator & coaching will make up for the lost talent.

Grier needs to go. He could have kept him in Miami for less than what the Raiders are giving him last year. Two years of negotiations and it comes to this, just walking away and within 2 hours, KABOOM the Raiders snag him thanks to Grier's incompetence. Horrible GM.

Doesn't seem like Miami is ever good at keeping good players that they draft. This past season was an opportunity to be really competitive but for various reasons including some coaching blunders and especially injuries, that ship has sailed. I predict that it'll suck being a Dolphins fan next season.

I could care less who Kelce is doinking. I just got tired of the cameras constantly panning to her with her mouth agape like a blowup doll. @ Treasure - Ya it really seems like there was something fishy with Peacock and the NFL trying to cash in on TS. That's the perception I had.

@ chata I wholeheartedly agree. Fangio was the equivalent to the Apple iPhone version 1.0 back in the day. Since then there's been 17 ios versions and he's still stuck on v1.0.

I had to listen to my father in law brag about his 49ers in the 80's. I can't stand them after the Dolphins lost that Super Bowl. And then there's the whole Talor Swift thing with the Chiefs that drives me nuts. I would have preferred Ravens & Lions. I don't like either the 49ers or Chiefs, but at least Brock Purdy was a huge Marino fan and Dan is his role model which is why he wears 1

Well Dan Campbell just screwed up royally going for it on 4th down against the 49ers instead of kicking a field goal to tie. Horrible coaching decision.

He was the highest paid DC in the league. I bet there's more to it than him just quitting. From observing them play there were times in some defensive formations that player match ups made me think wtf??? Especially when it came to defending an opponents WR1, and those were the plays when the D got burned. It's as if our best guy against their best guy didn't matter much to him. It doesn't

The Titans loss comes to mind. His soft zone "prevent" scheme giving up 2 TD's with 2:45 left to play was an epic failure. It "prevented" Miami from clinching the division after the Dallas win.

Let's compare Herbert and Jackson - Herbert already got a contract extension but the Chargers still haven't won shit, can't even get to a wildcard game. With that said Herbert basically hasn't proven a damn thing or that he can win any big game. Jackson sat for 2 years, got injured 2 years in a row so the Ravens took a 5th year option on Lamar and now he's had a healthy season and playing l
