This is a moderated phorum for the CIVILIZED discussion of the Miami Dolphins. In this phorum, there are rules and moderators to make sure you abide by the rules. The moderators for this phorum are JC and Colonel.
Tyreek is just crying because he's not the center of the team focus like he was last season with his quest for 2000 yards. This season he was mostly used as a decoy. He's a "me first" type of guy and seems to be a distraction in the locker room.
He's also butt hurt that KC hasn't missed a beat after dumping him and his contract on Miami. He probably feels like he was cheated out of a

I wouldn't read too much into that press release, it was probably written a week ago. Remember that Ross has a history of rewarding his head coaches just before firing them. Not saying that anybody is going to get fired but, recall that "officially" Tannenbaum was promoted into oblivion. He just disappeared and was forgotten.

Meanwhile the Broncos are trouncing Kansas City's practice squad so, it may be a moot point. Denver is in the driver's seat.

Miami Dolphins, one of 4 teams snubbed in the Pro-bowl selections. Along with The Jest, Titans and Saints. That's some rarified company there folks. Grier should stand up and take a bow for the team that he built in just 6 short years. Van Ginkel is a Pro-bowl starter.

This team will just be spinning it's wheels until they get a REAL QB without the over-reliance on the back-up position.

You betcha JC. I have a friend from Boston area that I used to sail with back in the day that has a winter home in Port St. Lucie, close to the Treasure Coast. He used to brag about wearing his Patriots hat whenever he was in South Florida. I asked him recently if he was still sporting his gear with pride? <<< crickets >>>

Everybody loves a winner and Miami ain't it anymore, just like there used to be loads of Patriot's gear in South Florida, not so much anymore.

The fans are beginning to react. It looks like the stadium was less than half full. Maybe, just maybe Ross saw it too.

I was NOT all that impressed with Tua. Ball on the one yard line and can't get it in? Two passing plays and one run play and can't get it in?
3rd and inches and QB sneak is off the table? Brady makes that sneak 100 out of 100 tries but it's not even an option for Tua?
Is Tua the ONLY QB in the NFL with an eggshell noggin?

Jason Garrett said it best, the Dolphins ARE NOT a physical team. Grier and McD have totally screwed up building this team as a finesse team. Plenty of speed but unable to grind it out in anything but ideal conditions.

Don't look now but, the Mighty Miami Dolphins are in the cellar of the AFC East thanks to the surging NE Past dispatching the Chicago Bears with a convincing win.
I can only hope that the master plan is to Fail For Ward or, barring that, maybe Muff For Manning.
How else can you explain how one of the largest payrolls in the NFL ends up at the bottom of the Trash Heap and nobody is getting fired

The Miami Dolphins neither traded any players away nor acquired any additional talent ahead of the 2024 NFL trade deadline.
I guess that means Grier and Ross think we're set.

The snaps were OK, Tua was reading the defense and wasn't ready for the snap. This team is still making way too many fundamental mistakes.

I hear you and feel your pain.
Absolutely no expectations for this game but, I recall a couple years
back when the Phins were heading to Gillette Stadium to play the
mighty Tom Brady led Patriots. Not a prayer in the world, right?
I didn't bother to watch and missed the improbable win by the
Dolphins and Fitzpatrick. It seems so long ago.
Anyhow, I got a couple friends coming

This season is over. Maybe not mathematically but realistically. We had a complete tear-down and rebuild and we're right back where we started. Oh sure, we got 2 back-to-back play-off appearances but, that was ONLY because the Patriots are back down to Earth and in no position to play spoiler. McD is a phony, He got the first play-off appearance basically with the team that Flores built and with

The offence moved the ball well against a poor defense against the pass. Running game was clicking but, when the offence "needed" some points to put the game away, they stalled. As far as momentum going into next season, it's still too early in the season to tell. We'll have to wait to see how the injuries stack up. This was one of those games that was supposed to put the team back on i

Chris Grier has a terrible habit of signing over the hill ex stars for big money and draft picks. Why doesn't Marino say something? I think he has Ross' ear.

Saleh and McDaniels evidently are good friends from their days in San Francisco. Word has it that McD would like to bring him into the Dolphins organization in some defensive capacity but, who would blame Ross for wanting to keep a tighter rein on the spending considering the results on the field. Still, Saleh has guaranteed income from the Jest organization for the next two years so, we may see

If Tyreek is excited to get traded away then he never was Dolphin material to begin with. Good riddance if true.

The night, the season — maybe this full Miami Dolphins era — began to collapse on the fourth offensive play Monday night, the one where their best player dropped a lateral pass, didn’t realize it was a fumble and watched the ball roll on the field like a penny down the sidewalk.
Wasn’t Tyreek Hill aware? Hadn’t that issue been mentioned in practice? What are they even doing in practi

Huntley has been named the starting QB for Monday night. Personally, I think it's a good choice. I watched him play a bit during pre-season a couple of years ago and thought he looked pretty good but, I thought the same thing about Skylar so, we'll see.

Me too Colonel, I turn 76 in a few days. I recall the run-up to the 72 SB and some of you old farts might remember it too. Then again, some of you guys might not remember what you had for breakfast but, during the pre-game shows leading up to the game, there was this one segment that compared the running styles of Mercury and Csonka. It was all set to music with Mercury's highlights set to bluegr

No need to apologize, anybody that doesn't feel frustrated when the wheels fall off isn't a true fan. On some other teams when the back-up QB comes in it's usually a much smoother transition than the fustercluck that we witnessed yesterday.
Nick Foles came in off the bench and took the Eagles to the SB, the same with Tom Brady. It's rare but, it happens. With the hapless Dolphins, even after

It would be just our luck to tank this season and miss out on Arch Manning who ends up going to another team.
