I grew up in Southern California and was not a fan of any of the Cali Teams (Chargers, Rams, Raider, 49ers). I think watching Dan with Clayton and Duper really turned me onto Phins growing up. This is probably silly but since I didnt get to see alot on Phins games growing up due to the region I grew up in my fandom grew from Super Tecmo Bowl on my Nintendo that was the only team I would play with

I predicted 5-11 which I thought to be realistic for a totally new coaching staff on both sides of the ball. However I am pleased with our progress up until now and I think if I were to re-evaluate the team now I would predict 8-8 or 7-9.

Vets provide the been there done that view and if they are good they will share that info with the young players without breaking the bank ex: Rice - TO in San Fran. KB Even when you are in rebuilding mode you still need Vet guidence. It is ok to have a few vets with short term contracts to coach up the young players as long as you dont break the bank with these contracts.

Berk I agree it was kinda sad. As a manager I had to let my fair share of people go and it is never fun. You could tell it was not easy for Philbin either he seemed very uneasy continually tapping his fingers on the sofa.

King you remind me of a previous poster here by the name of Dolfan1. No matter where we were as an organization he always brought a gloom and doom mentality with his posts. King I will respect your opinion but I ask that you would eliminate this negativity in your posts and try to bring an more optimistic/realistic point of view instead of bashing our team.
