Haha... just sell the team to somebody that cares about the product.

Why does the owner own this team? Just a tax thing? It is obvious he doesn't care about the product on the field.

I like your theory. Cut losses, get rid of hefty contracts regardless of reasoning, cut old guys and find new PLAYERS. No hope with the front office I am afraid.

It works for me in Madden... but other teams want my players like Misi, Jones, and a couple others. I get a pile of draft picks, and get rid of players 30 and above. Draft a top QB with one of those picks, build up the roster thru the draft (maybe a couple of gems) and add a couple of strong OL thru FA. Then again... FAs like to come to my Madden Dolphin team with the right money. They don't see

Dang Joe... I can't quit agreeing with you. I am going to quit reading your post. Play calling is horrible.

I totally agree... I think running with some 'options' is his best trait. Why not use them when you do actually see them work?

That was the point... I wasn't. My point was a career backup (IMO) came in and did pretty good. Your point was nobody could come in and do as good as Brady... I just noted that Cassell was decent with only 4 or 5 losses. If I could get the meds... I might get one anyway.

Did you see the 'without the smart part' in the last sentence?

A few stats from Pro Football Focus: Miami Worst cap position at moment. Need to do something with Cameron, Grimes, Jennings and Mitchell. Maybe even Misi. They are cap killers. Pass blocking grade OL- 24th in league Run blocking grade OL- Last in league LG and RG rate are some of lowest in league. LB Sheppard is ranked 84 among LBs. Pass Defense grade is 27th in league. Haha KB, You made the point about nobody being able to just QB the Patriots and do just as good. Would you take a 11-5 record with a backup QB? Most years a 11-5 record cruises into the playoffs. An odd year when that record doesn't make it shows you it has all been Brady? That is a weird theory. Even 'if' a high drafted QB did a little better than RT... they are not going 11-5 with the

Yes, pitiful is the right word. The problem is the light at the end of every Dolphin tunnel is a train heading our way.

Don't know how much was Belichick and how much was the rest of the team around those guys.

Any QB drafted besides a verifiable stud like Luck is going to go through the same crap. Every week it will be: Is QB playing good enough to start? Is Tannehill playing better than the pick? Do they run the ball more? Is the stud able to run at all? Can they protect the stud? Is there anyone for the stud to get the ball to? Can the defense stop the run... or pass? Is there any other high talen

True... maybe they will actually start up the process instead of just talking about it. Hey KB... there is a difference in the teams they went to. Browns had (maybe not still) no QB and a shattered team. Falcons were solid and needed a pocket passer- Ryan perfect fit. How does the pocket passer do in the Dolphins pocket? How does a shut-down corner do on a team needing one? An OL needs

Stand every one of the guys you just mentioned beside Cam... then you will notice something different about them. You are missing the size with athletic ability difference. Giant difference tackling Kap or Griffin compared to Cam. Plus... Cam tends to get back up and point- 1st down.

We in line... but have a habit of winning these mean-nothing games. We like to get lower in the draft to give ownership time to think on draft day.

Saying 1 pass to get a possible TIE as the straw that broke the three amigos back is just silly. If you don't give up running your QB with a solid HB running... you are not even in that position. Ross can't complain about anything. T-baum hasn't done one single thing right that I know of. Marino... doesn't he have something better to do than hang out with those two?

The running game using Miller AND Tannehill looked great. Use it and abuse it. They didn't... they lost. Defense did average for a time... but really only a paper tiger. No substance.

He is a hard-nosed (and crooked one) ex-TE coach... he is what he is. He inherited this mess. You are getting your 'lose the rest' but then you turn around and complain about that too. The coach or QB for that matter are not the problem IMO. As Chris Carter said on Mike and Mike this morning... the Dolphins don't have very many good players. Problems start from the very tippy-top.
