Never saw much in either Daniel Thomas or Miller. I found Moreno demonstrated "running with enthusiasm and talent". Moreno is a real talent but has not demonstrated he can stay healthy. Thomas and Miller have demonstrated they are not starting-quality in the NFL. It's going to be a rough road until Moreno gets back unless someone else like Damian Williams can step up.

With all due respect, Taylor is not an equivalent comparison to Jordan. JT was a rare talent, YES... but an even rarer path of development. He wouldn't have lasted on the roster during his development if he had a high price tag... And we were darn lucky with that. Simple odds are.... we will not see anything like that out of any player, including Jordan. It's a one in a million example. If jorda

I haven't seen anything that would warrant paying him "franchise quarterback" money. If things don't get a whole lot better, I'd be looking to select another QB in the draft. I feel like the only reason he's starting is because staff is hoping for his talent to reveal itself and he is just not "there" yet. If what we have seen is all there is to see, are we keeping him

Thanks Ireland. What can Miami recoup salary-wise or salary-cap wise (if anything) if they: A) cut him? trade him? Whichever is best needs to happen. As far as the entire team is concerned... I would rather have a player with half the "potential" and twice the heart. Lot of dead-weight standing around. Time to clear some space on the roster for more players with heart.

At least, the coaches should have never let this go on for any amount of time. They should have never drafted him or at least dismissed Martin (traded or released him) as soon as they saw he didn't fit the mold or wasn't going to fit in with the rest of the players. But DONT sit on your hands and let it get outta control. This is what happens when leadership doesn't take prompt action. I lost

Do we really want to teach players to start throwing punches when there is such a problem? Does that work? I was in a similar position once in high school), with an upperclassman treating me the same, and I decided to throw a punch. All I got was kicked off the team. I threw the first punch, no questions asked.... I was immediately dismissed. Coaches failed me. The dolphin coaches failed thei

You can't say RT is a top ten QB. By QB rating he's 34th in the league this year. I would feel a lot better RT had finished the season with two solid games instead of two stinkers. I am not ready to dump RT but it would be wise to pick up a QB prospect in the next draft... To push RT ... And in case RT doesn't progress. However, the focus of Miami's draft needs to be other positions, especial

"We had top 10 in the league QB play...and I expect us to have top 5-8 next season." What are you guys talking about? Maybe I'm reading it wrong or something but, according to the NFL, Ryan Tannehill is 34th in the league in QB rating this year. (He was 47th last year, so I guess that is sort of an improvement... Ugh).

I want: Ireland gone. New talented faces on the offensive line. Significant improvement in Tannehill. Resign Starks. Resign Grimes. The list goes on and on... There are multiple areas of concern in many other positions, especially when you consider the number of free agents the team has. Brutal schedule next year too. Realistically, next year is going to be an uphill battle. It will b

I could see the knee fail the PCL test when the dr applied it on the trainers table. The dr immediately turned his head and swore with enthusiasm; confirming the injury. It's rare for the PCL to be the only ligament to tear.. But it appears that is the case in this instance. Hartline = under-rated receiver. Get well soon!

Not saying "dump him". He's still the starter.... But he might have shown all he's got at this point (he's had two years as a starter). I hope he's got more. I'm not saying he's a bad QB but he hasn't performed anywhere near well enough to say he's beyond reproach. The upcoming draft will be a pretty deep one for QBs. RT's contract is up in 2015..... but the 2015 draft looks like it

Set the success criteria prior to the season and then evaluate your performance relative to that criteria at the end of the season. Was your goal "almost making the playoffs"? "Almost a winning record"? Do you really think there is a lot of talent on this team relative to the other teams in the league? Really... "A lot"? We have some good players but not enough.

Amen ChyrenB! The problems the team has had land squarely on the GM and coaching staff. The players don't decide who to sign, draft, release, fire, or hire. My success criteria at the beginning of this season was to be better than 0.500 and not get swept by any team in the division. Not exactly lofty goals... But none-the-less, the team is swept by Buffalo and goes 0.500. Not good enough = FAI

If we stick with Tanny it is only because those in power think he can develop. He certainly has NOT arrived YET. He's only a project (at best) at this time. As for now, his performance has obviously faded when it counted. He certainly hasn't shown anything "special" along the way, so he's not going to be the next Manning or Marino or (insert your favorite QB here). I think I am

I want to get fairly paid for what I do, so I have no problem with the statement in itself. But I also know my employer expects me to be professional and give my best. That means I work at it, set the example for others, give it my all, and --- the most major point --> BE EFFECTIVE. I can be all the other things... But if I can't get the job done, all is for "0"... And that would be

Just my 0.02 but I have always said that Hartline is underrated. The guy makes some incredible catches and rarely drops a ball. That makes one of my "8 points"; you need consistent production from players. Once you have that, you know your strengths and weaknesses and what works and what doesn't. You also reveal where you need to get help via player replacement/aquisition. If you d

Bear in mind that JT was a 3rd round pick and Dion Jordan was pick No. 3 overall. Hard to compare the two when JT clearly exceeded everyone's expectations. DJ should compare well with other high first round draft picks but he hasn't. Bottom line is that he's a disappointment and an underachiever and that is on the person who made the decision to draft him.....or the coaching staff that isn't usin

Early 70s - Super Bowl champions. A superior team. Late 70s and early 80s - Playoff regulars. Made it to the SB. Always a playoff team. Very Good team. Late 80s And 90s - Always competitive. Playoff team most years. Sometimes deep into playoffs. Decent team overall with a great quarterback and a few other outstanding players. Early 00's - Hoping to make playoffs, but rarely do. A team se

Jordan's lack of playing time says it all. If his shoulder is still injured --- well, that is one slow-healing shoulder.... And nobody is talking about a timeframe for healing, so I don't think his shoulder has anything to do with it. I think he's having trouble getting on the field only because the coaches think he is more of a liability than a threat. I see him getting pressure with his speed-r

Disappointment. Just a terrible effort. The defensive line didn't show up today. Neither did the running game. Wallace is just "soft". Com'on man, make an effort to go up and get the ball! Like Revis did! Did the offense really let 18 seconds run off the clock before the two minute warning and didn't get a play off? Did you really give up two sacks in the last three offensive plays
