I definitely seem to be in the minority here, but I'm actually growing a little fond of the new logo. I cant wait to see the full uniform

With the Steelers recieving core, I fully expect them to match it. They cant afford to lose him after losing Wallace

a little off topic, but I can only imagine the things Marino would have accomplished with half the running game Elway had.

you know in my 22 years on this fine planet, I've never been quite so optimistic about our chances for success, not just in this year, but for years to come!

I for one, hated the Seahawks new uniforms, and pray that we keep a more traditional look, but thats not to say that this leaked logo isn't bad. Because it is.

Im afraid that this rule would essentially eliminate running at the middle of a defense. You'll see a lot of edge running and RB's ducking out of bounds trying to not get there head knocked off.

IMO I feel like Dumervil will inevitably end up back in denver, but should they not be able to kiss and make up, he will be chasing maximum money, and I dont want to overpay for him, as much as I would love to have him (partially for reasons listed above) I absolutely do not want to overspend. I would rather see us shore up our CB situation a little bit first, then see what the draft brings us

I wouldn't be surprised if we try to trade Bess for a 5th or a 6th, I think he's worth more, but with his contract up next year without striking a new deal with him I cant see a team giving up anything more. Besides that, I would take an expired can of sardines for Bess if it kept him off the Pats/Jets/Bills.

16. Re: CBs
looks like Smith is signing with the Chiefs. I would now like to pick up maybe Talib, and draft Xavier at 12. I feel like that would be at least a very solid improvement to our back end D.

Dont know much about the guy, but from the 30 seconds of research I did, not really expecting him to light the world on fire anytime soon.

I've heard a couple rumors about a possible Jermicheal Finley trade. Nothing specific, but it wouldn't surprise me too much.

Thats because he was was playing with Jameel Mcclain and Ray Lewis. One a first ballot HOF'er and the other an very talented ILB.

I feel like we've pretty much made the biggest early splash, and greatly improved our team already. I look for us to possibly look for a trade with GB for Finley, and take a stab at a couple of CB's to see what sticks, and then put an extra fine polish to our offseason in the draft.

I cant deny that Ross wanted him for ticket sales, but I can't get myself to believe that Philbin or Ireland really wanted him, with his percieved fragility and really only 3-4 good years left in him at best. I think that Sherman pretty much had Philbin sold on Tannehill from day 1 when he walked in, and drafting Tannehill and signing Manning would have been more or less a waste of a pick.

I know that, but I doubt we really even wanted him to begin with, were on a youth movement, and an aging quarterback known for choking come playoff time doesn't really fit our plans.

I would be interested if only to stick it to my Bronco loving brother, who still insists that Denver beat Miami in the pursuit of Manning, even though I honestly believe that we did nothing more than interview him to appease the fans. Sorry, got a little bit "ranty" there...

I don't even know if this is a good signing for them, he hasn't played in what 2 or 3 years now? And he was starting to decline back then. Just don't see how this will help the Jets... which of course only can mean good things for us

I honestly wouldn't trade up in this weak draft. While Luke Joeckel may be the best tackle in the draft, I dont want him at anything higher than 12. I would really like to see us trade down to like the 20's and pick up another 2nd or 3rd at least, and try to get Keenan Allen or Patterson if they fall that far, otherwise maybe Xavier Rhodes at DB. I think that Johnathan Martin will be a sol
