Our DL had good pressure, Luck never had unlimited time to pass. He was getting the ball out fast, and our coverage just couldn't stop the pass. The colts had 13 3rd down conversions, that's just insane, and every one was a pass. Our line got to 3rd and long so many times just to watch a quick pass cover the whole distance. Then the two big long passes that should have been intercepted by

Peyton didn't have great numbers in his first 5 games. After his 5th game he was 1-4 with 11 interceptions and only 3 TD. RT looks so much like I remember Manning looking in his start.

I can't wait to come back from the break and play Indy. Luck looks great so far, and I think RT is looking good too. Hopefully the matchup will get us some ESPN time.

I'd love to see Miller and Lane together. I'm a huge fan of Bush, but he hops around too much. Lane is making lanes and he doesn't follow him, sometimes for the better but a lot not. I'd rather have Bush on the field and healthy, but I've been hoping we'd see Miller again with Lane since the first game.

Back to the original top I'm thinking if we get past the Bengals then we're in the hunt for the AFC East. Our best quality might be that we're in a division on the downslope.

I think it's: CB, WR still, SS and LB. On that same subject I worry about depth on the OL and DL. I'd like to see our backups be stronger there more than anywhere else.

Carpenter is still a good kicker. He missed three pretty long kicks and two of them were in rain. I'd like him to make every kick, but I don't think it's a sign of decline.

I really hated on Hartline thinking he was always going to be awful. I couldn't understand how he was a starter. It's not just that he set a record, it's more because of the way he's been playing every game. He's forcing separation instead of hoping for it, he's making the right decision when Tannehill is under pressure and he's catching the ball when he does get a chance. I still wish he w

I'd take Ginn back in a second over Naanee. He wasn't awful, he just wasn't 1st round pick material.

I agree that the coach made a mistake. I'm willing to give him a break. All of the experts had us last in the NFL, and I think we're looking competitive. I blame the coach for that positive influence as well. If you're only interested in short term then I can see why you're disappointed. I think I'll give him the full season to grade his performance.

12. Re: ugh
I think first half it was on our receivers. They didn't get open and dropped some easy passes. The second half was on Tannehill. We're looking pretty good though overall. This one should have been a W. Our loss to Houston is bad, but they're a great team, our win on Oakland is looking a lot better with what they did against Pitt and this loss was as even a game as it gets. Even our Preseaso

I feel more hopeful for this season than I did in preseason. We looked really good at times throughout the game. The turnovers took away any chance we had of winning, no argument there, and they were rookie mistakes. Ryan Luck had 3 TO's as well, only RGIII had a shining night. We do have a new system on both sides of the ball. I expect we'll have some good games this season.

I'm fanatical, I can't predict a losing season. 9-7 That's as close as I can get to honest.

Devone Bess Marlon Moore Legedu Naanee Roberto Wallace Brian Hartline I would like Hogan, but I think the last spot will go to a ST/WR.

As much as that catch impressed me I saw two blocks he threw that impressed me more. This is a guy that can open some holes if our RB can follow him.

I know this is the worst score, but I felt a lot better about the game. The 1st team defense did well and our rushing game was doing pretty well in the first half. The WR and TE are looking so bad, but this game gave me some hope that we won't be as bad as I thought. I counted 5 passes that I felt that Naanee should have had, Fasano dropped at least 2 more, I think 3 more. The only bright spot

It was on Tannehill, tipped ball, but he's gotta get that ball over the defense. It was a good play by the linebacker to tip it or I think it would have been a 1st, but still an error.

At a minimum Naanee should have had two of those four passes. With some effort he could have had all four.

Maybe we should put the WR in the backfield and the RB to catching passes. It can't be worse for the running game.

22. Re: QB
I'm going to be surprised if Garrard doesn't start. Tannehill is sure, because he did well enough to show he can be the future. I think the roster competition is between Devlin and Moore. Garrard isn't Culpepper, Garrard has had good health, he just a bad break that's almost fixed.

Tannehill didn't make any of the big mistakes rookies are known for, he showed some touch and he did drive for a touchdown. He wasn't awful. like people are saying. If I had to say there was problems on the Team he'd be near the bottom of the list behind the CB, OLine, RB, WR, TE and the DLine.

I can't give up this early, even as bad as we looked. You can't train a dog to talk in one day. I'll keep hoping at least until the third game.

Just focused on Tannehill and not the dismal overall performance of the team I think there was good and bad. The first drive is the one where I think Tannehill looked awful. He looked like a nervous rookie, two incompletes that I thought were his fault. The only bright side was that he didn't panic and throw passes that could have been intercepted. The second drive Tannehill looked good to
