Hard to say. Fangino knows what he wants to accomplish and how to get there. Last time we had a truly great "D" was IMO when Dave Wannstadt was the D co-ordinator.....He was the worst Head coach but he put together a heck of a D with the Tandem of Surtain and Madision. Those two allowed Thomas and JT to roam freely and make plays. With Howard and Ramsey.....I think we can be better.

From what I'm reading losing Morstead was only becuase the Pats punter, a pro bowler was available. The Dolphins snatched him up. He was suspended last season for some unknown reason and he fell out of favor with Belichik. I'm sure they investigated it. He's a definite upgrade. But we need a better FG kicker .that kid was seriously inconsistent.

Mike White.......5th rounder for Texas in 2018. He's the Jets Back up. He will probably be competing with Skylar Thompson for the 2nd string position. My money is on Skylar but White isn't making chump change . 2 yrs = $16 million. You don't pay someone that kind of money for 3rd string. Competition is good.Has to be an upgrade on Teddy dumb hat.
