The thing is, all of the available quarterbacks have issues...we simply need to pick the lesser of the evils and sign him.

We didn't draft a player and we can't go forward with the group we have currently...Orton is simply the safest choice out of the guys that still have some talent left. Bulger, Hasselbeck, McNabb and Palmer are all no's with Flynn being a flash in the pan. Orton, Kolb and Young are the only real choices with Young being a flake and Kolb being to expensive.

That's kind of what I was getting at, though. Both teams decided to expend significant resources to replace Orton. So, what does that say?

Anyway, my gut tells me that fans are going to be incredibly disappointed in what happens at the QB position. There's a lot of talk about the bigger names, but I bet the outcome will be spending $2-3M on a guy like Bulger, McNabb, Grossman, or Moore.
