Mike Nolan to Denver?
Posted by: Aqua&Orange ()

Rumors are flying that Mike Nolan might be the next Head Coach of the Broncos.

The Bowlin family love Schottenhiemer lineage coaches. Wade Phillips, Mike Shanahan were under him, so was Nolan.

Nolan went back to Denver as DC, but left because he could not work with McDaniels.

Now that Joshie is gone, speculation is that the Bowlin family wants Nolan back.

Oh for a second I thought you were serious. I was going to be like are you kidding me, the 4th ranked defense in the league. The guy has our defense playing lights out for him. So yeah, this would be a disaster if we lost him, our only hands down great coach without a question

do you fly in a patmobile?

Losing Nolan would be HUGE. He's obviously the best coach on our staff (Sparano included).

We should have pursued Charlie Weis as our Offensive Coordinator.

Just being "facetious" ....lol Obviously he is our best coach, just look at his results. He probably wont go to the Broncos because the Dolphins front office only likes to send our best people to our division rivals !

This defense is the main ingredient for keeping this team in games. If any part of this chemistry is disrupted then this team will go downhill even further. Nolan needs to stay right here where he is.

he needs to stay here. The defense is our best part and that will most likely fall apart. He has been able to make adjustments when things weren't working and besides some individual play, they have been lights out. No team has blown us out by destroying our defense. The two games we lost big were on special teams and poor offense.

I dont think he goes the Broncos are in bad shape almost the same situation when he took over the 49rs. He will stay with us and prob become our next head coach in 2012.

Oh gosh, I hope not.

He is in the same category as Wade Phillips, Cam Cameron, Norv Turner, Dave Wannstedte, Dick Jauron, Mike Martz, Rod Marinelli, and about 10 others.

Great coordinators, *HORRIBLE* head coaches.

If he gets another HC opportunity, I'm sure he will take it. Things went real sour for him in SF and he got fired mid-season. I'm sure he wants a chance to redeem himself.

Well I am sure he does. All coordinators want to be head coaches.

But, they are better off the quicker they realize that they dont make a good head coach.

Some of them, of course. Some do make good head coaches.
