No, my issue is that seemingly *everyone else* in the world believes that, not me so much. I read a lot of "let's get a good spot in the draft" out there, followed by "we sure did a crappy job at the draft" later on.

I am absolutely the anti-expert at the draft. I don't follow it, I don't watch it, I don't obsess about it. At all. It's not that I"m completely indifferent to it; I know it's very important. It just bores the living crap out of me. I'm only interested in the actual game. It's a major weakness of mine.

From a GM point of view, the preferred method of getting a high draft choice would be to make a trade.

We could certainly offer up Brandon Marshall & our 1st rounder in order to move up to get that player that will establish this franchise.

It would be next to impossible to plan out a scenario that would work in next years draft at this point mid-season.

You play to win as many games as you can. Especially, when you haven't been elimated from the playoff hunt.

We pay alot of people good money to get us the best players in the off-season. That is the game behind the game. We have to win that battle to get better. But it is never just about the first round of the draft.

I'm glad we won today. I'm glad Henne played well. I'm glad that today we dropped a little further down in the draft. May we drop some more next week.
