The Patriots defense is horrible do you not watch football. Henne blew the game when he made those int's and kept them in it at halftime. The score should of been at least 17-6. The Patriots get the ball in the 2nd half then boom a touchdown. What do we do to respond we punt have it blocked down 20-7. So you tell me Henne is not the problem. He can't respsond to pressure he does not have the mental makeup to bring this team back. He is a medicore QB that can't win games by himself. I am not bashing Chad Henne I am only saying that when we face advesity in a game we need someone to help us fight threw it not throw in the towel. I have seen enough of Henne to know that he is not a FRANCHISE QB in this leauge period.
Pennington can't throw the ball over 30 yards without it going duck. Regardless of who you like or don't like, you have to go with the QB that gives you the best chance of winning. Right now, that's Henne.

Listen there is alot of parody this year. We can still salvage the season, and kick the Cheatriots asses next time however we got to get our special teams fixed and can the wildcat. It is more like a pussycat and teams have figured out how to defense it let Henne be acomplete Qb or get someone you trust to run the whole game plan. In 08 we started crappy and came back to right the ship their is still time however changes have got to be made now, and last all year or else this season will be a loss.

That's unrealistic. Expecting a kid who's only started a handful of games to rally a team that had received multiple body blows like the Dolphins had is expecting a lot. He did immediately lead them to another score, but apparently the defensive captains had already thrown in the towel because they allowed the Patsies to march right back down the field and score on them. From there, it was all downhill. Where were the veteran leaders?
Henne will need to stop killing this team with bad int's and and drive killing plays if he is to become a good starting caliber QB. I have not seen it yet, and time is running out you either have it or you don't. Take the Titans game last year Henne lost the game with his bone headed pick right to the Titans player. He has got to start being an asset not a liabilty on offense.
Henne is not a "young" QB. He's been in the system for three years now, that's not a rookie QB. He also is a Momentum Killer, during the first half, before all the special teams mess he killed any Momentum we had going into half time. He better perform against Green Bay or I'll be voicing an even louder opinion for Pennington to replace him.
It's not like we don't have weapons on offense. Henne is killing this team by playing scared and not finishing drives. Would we be 2-2 if we had Phillip Rivers, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady I mean that's the difference those QB's know how to win. They are not liabilties to their teams like Henne has been towards us lately.

Comparing Henne to Peyton Manning and Tom Brady isn't fair. Those guys are vets that have won Superbowls. Regardless, none of those QBs would have made up for the special teams breakdowns we had against NE. Put Rivers in there and break his rhythm (and kill drives) with the Wildcat like we did against NY, and I think we lose anyway.
I think what the norm here is if we had Payton Manning, our special teams would never had the oppertunity to muff the plays that they muffed.
Also we would have scored on at least two of the drives which we killed ourselves because of some bad play calling.
Point is Henne is in his thired season second as a starter, and learned under one of the best QB's in the league.
Aaron rodgers learned under FAVRE for what 2.3 years, then came in and tore it up the second year he started.
Basically Henne show's a great arm, but looks lost at times in the pocket.
He has to be better in the pocket to be a elite QB.
Right now he is not playing horrible, but he is not shinning in glory.
So give him a couple more games, heck you could even give him the year, but you will deff know after the end of this year if the Henne is our future.
If we lose the next 3 games I say put in Pennington to try and salvage this season because he can utilize Marshall enough to not lose the games, and win them.
Why is it that everyone calling for Pennington to be put in as the starter forgets he has a Cambell's Chicken Noodle for an arm? He can't throw. He can complete a 10 yard out and a 7 yard cut. That's it. Hope Ricky and Ronnie have A LOT of tread on those tires if you want him in.
