I think the SB MVP award should be named after Shula.

WHAT THE HELL? Shula didn't do something in a Superbowl? Him coaching an undefeated team doesn't count??!!

you can't hand an award that goes to a player and name it after a coach. thats stupid!!!

"Why he wasn't a player????" - MikeO

I don't think Montequi or Phinsphan2 "missed" anything. You didn't know Shula played football. The above comment implies nothing about "guys who have done something in the Superbowl" That wasn't your point. Your point was why give a football player an award named after a guy who never played football. You were wrong, Shula did play football. End of story.

I love when people shoot from the hip and wind up with there foot in their mouth and then try to weasel there way out of a wrong statement... I can see if this was a verbal phorum then you can say "no noo i did not say that." But the fact that everything is written makes it a bit more difficult... However I do give him credit for not pulling a aqua/orange and trying to go back and edit his text after realizing how erroneous his statement was.

No, I'm not gonna pull a PUNK move like Aqua and Orange and edit my post and LIE about what i said. Then CLAIM to put someone on IGNORE only to respond to their posts.

I knew Shula played in the NFL, but he wasn't any good or a known player of any name value. Which is why naming the Super Bowl MVP award to a guy who is known for being a COACH is dumb beyond belief. If you are gonna name the Super Bowl MVP award name it after a player who did something in the SUPER BOWL games. Like Rice, Montana, Brady...etc.

I know what I said but I also know what I meant. In black and white it looks bad but whatever, have your laugh people if it makes you feel better.

Hey, Vince Lombardi didn't do anything on the field at a Super Bowl either! Take his name off that damn trophy!

I still think the SB MVP award should be named after Shula.
